| This was a beautiful, profoundly moving experience.Sadly, the theater was only 1/2 full on the Wed, night I saw it, but the audience roared their approval as if it we were thousands. Brilliant acting all around, and a story that is so important for ALL ages. GO, Go, Go!! |

| Went to this play on 05/10/13 after using the Broadwaybox.com discount at the theatre. The play was Outstanding. Cicely Tyson, Cuba Gooding Jr. Vanessa Williams, and Condola Rashad all did an Excellent Job. I went to this play knowing nothing about it expect who was in the cast. If this play does not touch your heart, then you most have a heart of stone. Wonderful story you must go and see this play. |

| I truly enjoyed the show. The entertainment was very realistic. I liked the way Cicely Tyson engaged the audience in singing with her. That was so cool. I enjoyed the acting, stage settings, and storyline. Just to be part of this experience of seeing such profound actors act together was such a great feeling. Cuba Gooding Jr. was very convincing as the son as well as Vanessa Williams as the daughter in law. |

Cicely Tyson was incredible! She conquered the role, and touched the audiences heart. Cuba Gooding, Jr - very good. Condola Rashad played the role with compassion and sensitivity. Vanessa Williams was having a problem with her lines? I didn't quite understand that?
A chance of a life time to see Cicely Tyson in a role befitting her. |

| Saw the first preview last night. I can not express with words on what an amazing performance Ms Cicely Tyson gave. If she does not win a Tony I will be surprised. Vanessa Williams is just stunning to look at and shows that she can do it all. All the actors really nailed it. If you like a heartwarming play with great acting go and see it !! |
