Not really a comedy Review by: LD, Sep 27, 2010 |
The Language Archive is billed as a "comedy," but patrons expecting a laugh-filled night will be disappointed. There a few chuckles here and there in this story of un-requited love. Although fairly well paced and wonderfully acted on a superb set, the play never really gets off the ground. Kudos to Jayne Houdyshell who managed to get a laugh without speaking a word!
