| Don't short change yourself and see The Irish Curse.... Now!! It is an abolutely hysterical play. The audience was in continual laughter from start to finish. However, the seriousness of the curse was also played to perfection, and these moments made this play more than just a funny play with a taboo subject. The setting is a church basement where these men meet once a week to talk out their problems about the curse. This week a new member arrives and that is the catalyst for the men to reveal their most inner thoughts. The humor and subject matter is not for children. The audience was made up of many women as well as men. You will leave this play seeing that men have feelings and can be sensitive too. Everyone has their own small penis!!!! |

| I saw this show not knowing what to expect. It was truly amazing... Funny, poigiant, moving. The subject matter turns out to be a symbol for any type of insecurity or inadequacy that messes up people's lives. The acting is simply phenominal. I could see the script in less talented hands coming off quite differently. These five characters are all brilliant. Go see this show. wonderful script. even better acting. these guys know what they are doing on the stage. humorous, intense, emotional, nuanced, at times almost heartbreaking. my attention didn't stray the entire time.
needs to be seen in this small theatre. toward the front.
there were a couple of kids in the audience. They don't belong.
the rest of you..don't miss it. |
