The show itself is a lot of fun. All the perfect prom characters are there - cheerleaders, geeks, jocks, bad boys, the class president, the principal etc. The actors all do a great job of staying in character while interacting with the audience.
Two complaints though - the room where the show is held was freezing the night that we were there. It was a chilly night and there were huge fans in every corner of the room, and no matter where I ... read more stood, I was in a draft. Very unpleasant and uncomfortable!
The room emptied out within 15 minutes of the show being over and after half an hour, the 80s music was replaced by really awful dance music. My friends and I were under the distinct impression that the Prom was followed by an all-night 80s dance party. |

| Terrible- brought two 12 year old girls, very inappropriate. Glorified drug use & sexuality. Would be fun for adults that want to party in a club with an 80's dj- no seats, no real storyline. |

| Unless you are in your teens or early 20's definitely don't go. Even my daughter, who is 20 and her boyfriend who is 24 thought it was ridiculous and they have been to many broadway shows over the years. It is not a show and if you are expecting a show, you won't get one. Also, there is basically no seating, you stand for most of the performance. | I had more fun at the Awesome '80s Prom than I did at my real prom back in the '80s. In part that is due to my age and having a better date this time. However, the show was truly entertaining and drew everyone onto the dance floor for an awesome time. I enjoyed having various characters come up to me and interact - e.g. asking how I did on the math test. I loved the references to movie characters and phrases from the 80s. My girlfriends and I went here for a fun night out and had a blast! It isn't a standard show, so if you want to just sit and watch a Broadway play for 2 hours, this is not for you.
But if you want to dance to fun 80s music and interact with the actors, this show is really fun. We will definitely go back for my sister's bachelorette party. |

| the awesome 80s prom totally lives up to it's name! the show was a blast, but i was disappointed when the 80s music stopped about an hour after the show and gave way to awful club music and awful club creeps. |

| awesome 80s prom wasn't that awesome after all. if you are a graduate of the 80s or in the age group raging from 16 to late 20s then you probably would enjoy this. if you are younger or older you probably will not enjoy this. i wish their was more information that it was an interactive show. i also wish someone would have told me to dress accordingly instead of looking silly in my t-shirt and jeans. i don't recommend seeing this show but i ... read more wont completely "bag" it. |

| I had SUCH a blast at The Awesome 80’s Prom. A bunch of girlfriends and I got decked out in our 80’s gear and danced the night away. Not only did we get to re-experience a prom, we even got to watch a show at the same time! There were so many different ticket packages to choose from, there is definitely something for everyone. I highly recommend it! |

In a word - AWESOME!!
As a graduate of the class of 1984 and having never been to my own prom - it was SO MUCH FUN being able to experience it like this! My boyfriend and I had an absolute BLAST!!

| I had a better time at this prom than at my own. It was hysterical and I loved that we actually got to dance and interact with characters like we were all at a prom together - it was better than I expected! I forgot how much fun it was to dress up and dance to the 80's! Totally nostalgic! |

I just went to The Awesome 80s Prom this weekend and had a great time. It is just like going to an actual prom in 1989. I am an 80s freak so I had a blast. My favorite part was when I was went to the bathroom to "freshen up" and the cheerleaders were in there fighting over this frosted pink lipstick. They got me in to the argument over who it looked best on. It was awesome.
We danced all night long, and I don't think my feet have ached ... read more that much since my actual prom in 1987! I even got to dance with the "bad boy" character who is modeled after Judd Nelson's character in "The Breakfast Club". I had such a crush on him when that movie came out. It was like all my 80s high school dreams had come true.
I definitely reccommend this show/party to anyone who is looking for something totally different. It's not a typical show since you are up dancing the whole night and the characters are trying to interact with literally everyone in the audience. But that's what makes it great. |
