| We went to see this play at the recommendation of a friend - and we are glad that we did. It was an exciting night of theater, with the most innovative set we've seen in a long time - literally a big sandbox, which the actors use in different ways, also large curtains at the start that are used in interesting ways. Some really great ideas at work here re the set, and the lighting. The cast includes some really great actors - we are always amazed ... read more by the tremendous depth of acting talent here in NY, and this play showcases great actors, most notably the actors who portray Troilus, Achilles and Hercules. It is sometimes hard to follow the text, but this is a small issue. The cast are energetic, there is lots of action, and the story moves fast. If you are an acting or history buff, you will really love this play, but it will appeal to most people who enjoy theater. |
