| My husband and I were in NYC for only a couple of nights and my sister recommended The Accidental Pervert. We were so glad she did! It was hilarious, relatable and purely entertaining. I made my husband sit in the aisle seat to get the beverages and loved the banter that was received. |

| I saw this show 3 times! It got better every time. Andrew Goffman is very very funny and also gounded in truth. There is so much action and humor onstage that the show passes by so quickly. You wish it would go on! One of the best evenings I've had Off-Broadway, in a long, long time! This is the stuff I wish Broadway was made of! |

| Saw this show last night and it was great! Definitely for mature audiences, with naughty shtick close to stuff you'd see late night on comedy central/HBO (Louie CK, etc.) My friends all go to the New School and I probably walked by 13th street rep a million times and never noticed it. | I loves this show so much I saw it twice! When you see it yourself, you'll understand why. This show is jam packed with laughs, jokes, funny phrases -- I laughed so hard it brought tears to my eyes! The second time I saw the show I brought a few friends, who all said the same thing. Saw this off-off Broadway offering with my wife and we were mostly split in our opinions. We both agreed that Andrew Goffman is a charming, talented performer and that his memoir is arguably worth telling/performing. But where she thought The Accidental Pervert was quite funny, I barely laughed. Goffman's best moments occurred when patiently dealing with a technical failure and a plague ridden audience member with great ... read more patience and amusing ad- libbing. Much of the structured component of the show was just a little too obvious and redundant for me.
The OFF-OFF Broadway VERY low rent 2 floor walk up offered surprisingly effective staging. And the dirty material does not result in as filthy a show as you might expect. I might have been more disappointed if our tickets had not been deeply discounted. |
