Incredible!!!!
This was my children's first Broadway experience and they loved it (ages 6 and 9)! The sets, acrobatics, dancing and music are great! How could anyone say it was dull?????It at the very least is eye-catching.
Go...it was great!!!
The music is not dull, nor are the sets music or dancing!
How could anybody be bored with so much action????
Get mezzanine seats so you won't miss any of the aerial action. |

| Don't bother! We bought our tickets 7 months in advance, actually prior to previews, expecting a blockbuster from Disney. Boy were we disappointed. Nothing about the show was worth the money paid for the tickets. Most musicals leave the theater-goer eager to go out and buy the CD to relive the excitement but not Tarzan. If this is your first show ever you may like it, but for those who have seen at least 1 show you'll be disappointed. |

| After reading the reviews, Tarzan was not on the top of my list of shows to see. However, my mother-in-law expressed an interest in seeing it, so my husband and I took her as a gift. To my surprise (and believe me, no one was more surprised than I), the show was very entertaining and enjoyable. The staging was really great and the sets were classic Disney. A great show for the entire family. |

Tarzan was one of the best performances I have seen. Stage was amazing, the actors showed that they truly enjoyed their job and invested in it. And the singing was just amazing.
Now this is for all the people that wrote negative reviews for Tarzan. It is a DISNEY PRODUCTION!!! Understand Disney!! Tarzan wasn't meant to be a deep drama. It was meant to entertain people. For all who are still wondering if the $110 is really worth it, yes it is. You will leave feelling so good about everything in life!

| My daughters (10 and 7 yrs old) and I went yesterday and we loved it. I had read other reviews and was skeptical about going to see it and wether my kids would like it. I am so glad we went, the music, acting, and special effects were awesome. Disney has done it again. I agree that the stage is always the same green, but then, isn't the storyline about a boy that grows up in the jungle with apes. What do you expect. | Waste of money. Poor sets, bubble-gum music, weak acting. I can't think of anything redeeming about this show. I can still see the actors swinging on the vines again and again and again. How could the producers of this show put it in front the audience when it is so bad. If it were not pre-opening night sales, I am certain this show would be closed. |

This NOT worth your time or $$$. The Phil Collins music is much like Phil Collins BORING. The lyrics are too pedestrian, if it rhymed they used it. The set is cheesy and tacky and lifeless, like most of the performers in this mess. Did I forget to mention it's painfully long?
Disney had one great production (LK), one good one (B&B), one less than mediocre (MP) and this just plain awful and forgettable one.
Disney go back ... read more to the theme parks, this is theatre, your productions are not. Tacky overpriced souveniers also available. The soundtrack they bsell for $25 is sold at a Times Square Virgin for $10, though who'd want to listen to this again baffles me. |

| I really, really found this show painfully boring. It was such an unpleasant experience. If anyone likes this show, then they haven't seen B&TB, LK or Hairspray. There was zero excitement, zero entertainment. The only thing that wasn't zero that should have been was the price, which I would loved to have gotten any kind of refund. | We saw Tarzan yesterday and were very skeptical based on these reviews. Our family enjoyed it very much. It had the Disney magic!!! The singing was great and the acting as well. We bought the discounted tickets the same day and had 5th row center seats for 76.00 each. |

| I saw this show the night before I left New York. You're suppose to save the best for last, but somehow I ended my trip with Tarzan. There were a few fabulous songs in the show, and some really neat production scenes. But this show did not move me much. Tarzan did not look the part at all, but does have a beautiful voice. My spouse hated it though, I thought it was fair, but nothing special!! Friends had warned me but I didnt listen. |

My wife and two children ages 7 and 5 went to see Tarzan last night and let me tell you, the music was amazing the cast was even more amazing. We had front row seats so don't let the other reviews bog you down about where you sit,we got a whole new outlook on plays from Tarzan by sitting in the front row. To see the cast move and swing was just breath taking. We saw Josh way up above waiting for his que where no one could see him but us, ... read more he waived to us and it was the hilight of the night for the kids. If you want stage changes, then yes go see beauty and the beast. If you want great acting and amazing song then Tarzan hits on all notes. I do not buy cd's but this one will be added very sortly. Tarzan sings like he was the idol winner and Kala was a sound of beauty.Now Terk was my daughters favorite and was dead on with his notes even hanging upside down for most of the song.

| I saw Tarzan with my two children. We all loved it! The kids want to see it again. The bungee jumping monkey's were so exciting and fun to watch. Tarazan was fantastic and the music was awesome, we were singing the tunes for weeks. Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Would love to see it again!! Chris K |

Songs that were made for the movie were great but ones that were made up sounded boring and didn't have the normal broadway feel. Very limited space used in the show.
