Absolutly one of the funniest plays I have seen in a long time. The acting was great, they didn't stoop to cheap sexual jokes, and the singing was excellent. It was fun to see them bring audience members on stage. They was the actors worked with the audience was very natural.
I will spend my money to see this play time and time again.

The absolute highlight of our week's stay in NY! Of the three plays we saw, this was our favorite. There was never a dull moment. With no intermission the momentum keeps building. From my 80 year old mother-in-law to my 19 year old twin sons, the one liners were repeated for the rest of our trip...
As a teacher myself, my sides were splitting at the sterotypical actions of these students. It's worth another trip to NY to catch this one ... read more again! |

| What a fantastic and funny show! We laughed all night and immediately ran out to get the CD. Leaf Coneybear has stolen our hearts. Would absolutely see it again. |

| This show was hysterical! My daughter and I could not decide what to see and were so glad we got tickets to this show. We both keep referencing the song "I speak 6 languages".....you have to see it to understand but the show really caputured the competiveness as well as the naivite of the bee....we are still telling everyone about how everything, from the entrance area to the seating made us feel a part of "the bee". We both want to see it again!... read more! |

| Who knew? It’s very clever. The kid from the audience was about 13 years old and spelt his difficult word that was to eliminate him correctly. The actor who was the judge said shockingly, "That's Correct" and the audience broke into a loud ovation. Lot’s of fun. Got the CD and smile every time I listen to it. |

| Hard to believe, but I think that I was in the same audience as the former reviewer..By the way, your friend was very good..Well, what can I add? What a refreshingly original fabulous show! This is a GEM! I will recommend this one to everyone..Wonderful and fresh relatively new broadway actors with great comedic timing and wonderful voices...Loved, loved, loved it! So did my 14 year old son...One NOT to be missed! |

An absolutely hilarious show!
I went to see this with 18 other highschoolers and three adult chaperones.
Lucky for us, one of our chaperones (our VP) was one of the four audience members chosen after an interview before the show to participate onstage!
If you love a good laugh and witty one-liners, go see this show!
The only racy topic is the song about an errection, but it isn't too uncomfortable.
Though this show may seem ... read more lame because it's about a spelling bee, it is totally worth it! I have never laughed so hard in my life!
