| I thought the show was alright at best. Its for tourists. Watered down drivel explains it best. Another example of Broadway trying to swindle costumers out of their money. |

| Show is fun! Lead voices sounded rather weak. I believe it was a sounds issue. |

Just "okay" Review by: , Apr 7, 2011 |
| Saw Sister Act last night and wasn't really impressed. The lead didn't seem to have the strong vocals that are typical in Broadway musicals. I felt I was back at my Community College watching the Flo Arts students put on a musical. However, those tickets were usually a whooping $9. To me, there are very few numbers in this show that are Broadway quality. I think I counted 1! We paid $100 per ticket and were disappointed. Spend your hard earned ... read more money on another one, like WICKED!! |

Waiting for heaven, sat through hell Review by: , Apr 5, 2011 |
| Except for a few great lines and a handful of cute scenes this was very ho-hum...we left at intermission. I know it's a fluffy comedy but some of the lines were delivered as if the actor couldn't wait to get their laugh. Ugh-when only a few numbers and a little dialogue get me hopeful for something better and it doesn't, that's not good. |

fabulous baby~ Review by: MJ, Apr 4, 2011 |
i dont like to admit it, but i'm a fan. Watched it last week in March. though the certain parts of the plot were a little lackluster, the voice of Patina Miller never fail to amaze. HER VOCALS WERE AMAZING! Same goes for Victoria Clark and the girl as Mary Robert! Though it's abit too disco for me, i can't deny it's alot of fun and sassy-ness. worth watching. |

Patina Miller is Fabulous Baby and the show is alot of fun too! Review by: rskblueyes, Apr 3, 2011 |
Saw durring first week of previews. The show is alot of fun. It is pretty faithfull to the film. What makes it even better than the source material is the original score and the performance by Patina Miller who even outdoes Whoppi Goldberg in my opinion. The supporting nuns are wonderfull too especially the one playing Sister Mary Roberts. Here solo number was awesome. Not sure if the critics will like, so go see it for your self. |

Oh Lord, go see this Review by: dan, Apr 2, 2011 |
| This show is a must see. The singing is outstanding, the talent of the acting is superior. I recently saw Priscilla and I would put this one ahead of Priscilla. It was funny too. The only thing to be aware of is that the seating is very tight. Even Gumby needs to fast before the show to fit in the rows. Dont miss this show. |

For Christ's Sake and Your Own, See It! Review by: Carol, Mar 30, 2011 |
Patina Miller is the biggest star you've never heard of, but you will! This powerhouse actor commands the stage in an all-out performance as Deloris Van Cartier, singer, nun, friend, and victim. Mother Superior (Victoria Clark) is indeed superior, and the sets and costumes complete this delightful production of the book by Cheri and Bill Steinkellner. The music and lyrics by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater are sure to produce a hit. This ... read more is a joyful night of theatre. Take the kids too. It's a great introduction to a stand-out Broadway musical production. |

Review by: John, Mar 28, 2011 |
| Terrific fun! Great score by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater, witty book and a knock-out cast. Staging was apt too, as was production design. Granted, I saw the show in previews and would have made a few changes (some numbers, especially for the male characters, were gratuitous and long), but otherwise, just swell! |
