should go. Review by: say chan, May 22, 2012 |
I went to see them playing on May 18, 2012 in Appleton, Wisconsin. I never expected them to play well, but they did. We know they are not real Beatles, but the played well and sang well. I just enjoyed their performance. I want to say 'thank you'to them and organizers.

Review by: luv4daBeatles, Nov 16, 2011 |
| I am 27 years old, and really never listened to the Beatles until recently. My Step-father got me listening to them. When I heard Rain was coming to our area, I was super excited. Last night I was 3rd row away from Rain, in Huntsville AL. I loved their show. They really took you back in time. Even though it would be hard to actually compare these guys to the Beatles. They were pretty good. I love the idea of the TV, to show clips and pictures of ... read more the actual Beatles as well as commericals, and different important history events that happened within their timeline as well. It made it feel so real. I would recommended this show to anyone who has heard and has lots of respect for the Beatles. |

Great Show Review by: Jim-NJ, Jul 27, 2011 |
| The New York Times briefly cites that this show has no story. So what? It is an excellent presentation of The Beatles' music. I never saw them live so I can't compare this except to their recordings and films/video. Extremely entertaining evening. |

Great talent, high energy, a must see! Review by: Beatlesfan, May 28, 2011 |
| My husband, a die hard Beatles fan, decided on a whim, to go see Rain. We've read previous reviews and I have to say that while you may not call this a theater show, it's entertainment well worth seeing. The voices were right on, the guitars were right on and the drummer a great talent. It was a trip down memory lane. If you are a Beatles fan and want to hear the very popular Beatles tunes, then sit back and get ready to be entertained. I would ... read more highly recommend this 2 hour show honoring one of the greatest bands of all time, the Beatles. Rain delivers. |

It's a concert, not a show Review by: Arno, Apr 5, 2011 |
| Ok, the band had great voices and they did look a lot like real Beatles, but they should not call it a show. It was singing, changing outfits and wigs, and some background changes, that's it. And I don't think it's worth money that you pay. |

A Fun Show Review by: Bill D, Apr 3, 2011 |
| Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles is a very entertaining show especially if you are a Beatles fan. Two and a half hours of music from 1964 to the early 70's. Rain did a great job portraying the Beatles especially the singer who played John Lennon. |

Different Kind of Broadway Review by: Lisa, Feb 24, 2011 |
| I love broadway and a day in NYC is always a treat for me. Regardless of the show I will have a good time. Having said that I saw Rain on Broadway and of course like 99.9% of the world I love the Beatles and they have so many hits and it is always a pleasure to listen to their music. I most definitely enjoyed the show but having said that I do not know if this is a show that belongs on broadway. When I think of broadway I think of Wicked, Jersey ... read more Boys, etc. and this is purely just a Beatles Tribute. There is no "show" it is just music. I have seen a few Beatle tribute bands before and yes this is on broadway which makes it special in a way but it was nothing you cannot find at other tribute bands and it has no acting in it therefore I do not believe it should belong on broadway. I definitely enjoyed it and I understand broadway is evolving. For example, the Disney Shows, and shows such as Hairspray, Wicked, are all classic broadway shows with music and acting and the broadway atmosphere. Then I saw Rock of Ages which was a bit different because the show revolved around the music, so the story line was simple yet there was still acting and I would consider it a show. I also saw American Idiot in which it was basically Green Day song after Green Day song yet they did have acting in it and such so it felt like broadway. The Beatles should be appreciated and I understand their music alone is fabulous, but maybe a story line or something such as Jersey Boys or American Idiot would benefit the show. Having said all this I did have a good time. Just expect Beatles music and not so much a show. |

Decent Cover Band Review by: Pete, Jan 15, 2011 |
| My fincee and I saw the 2nd to the last show in NYC last night and unfortunately we were let down. It lacked energy from the start and the whole show lacked band member interaction between songs. The music line up was good they did play some great songs, but there wasn't a "show" except for a couple of wig and wardrobe changes. They could have at least added some history behind the music, or what the songs are about to ... read more keep the younger generation interested, I am sure the kids next to us would have appreciated it more. Be prepared you are going to see decent cover band with a few wardrobe changes, so have a few drinks before the show! |

Great Tribute Review by: shab, Jan 3, 2011 |
| A must see for any Beatles fan. My husband and I got tickets for New Years Eve Show and it was one of the best Tributes to the Beatles we've seen in years. Remember we are jaded New Yorkers. Must see before it leaves. |

Excellent Show/Concert! Review by: Johnny Sez, Nov 15, 2010 |
| Excellent show/concert. Since I have never been to a Beatles concert, but know the music for the past 40 plus years, I really enjoyed it. They did a great job. Also enjoyed the backdrop and side TV videos. See it if you can before it's gone... |

If You're A Beatles Fan, Go See This Show! Review by: Robber Soul, Oct 26, 2010 |
These guys are truly the next best thing. Rain takes you on a journey from the Ed Sullivan shows in 1964 through to the Rooftop performance in January of 1969 using different costumes and set designs. In between the changes commercials, video clips and music from the era are played on screen. The performers, the production and the costumes are second- to-none. Every Beatles fan should treat themselves to see this show at least once. ... read more Don't be surprised if you find yourself wanting to go back. |
