Stay Home. My guess, doing anything besides going to this show, would be more fun. If you ever attended middle school where there were boys, then you have heard every joke in this show. Out of respect to the few people who laughed at some of the jokes, it kept me from yelling out the punch lines, which I remember from grade school and middle school. This show is best for unsophisticated seniors who have spent a lifetime watching mediocre sit-coms on TV. The "actor" does 90 minutes of tired jokes on Italian and Jewish themes -- one right after another, with nothing holding ot all together. Steve Solomon was the greatest comedic act I have seen in a long time. I laughed so hard I was crying. Definitely and great show to see.

This was an enjoyable night out........it brought tears of laughter as Steve Solomon parades through his cast of characters as he explores the culture and humor of Jews and Italians.

5 "DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY'  Review by: Just wants to have fun, Aug 15, 2008
these people who liked the show and couldn't stop laughing, must either be over 65 or never get out. This guys show was, "SO NOT FUNNY", He was boring and not entertaining at all. I had more fun going to the bathroom meeting new people who were just as bored. I was so pest that I had wasted my money that I wanted to go back and ask to be reimbursted. I know for next time read the reviews.

Most humor is found in every day occurrences, which commonly happen to all of us, but is seldom spoken about. We tend to find things funny that we can relate to. Well, it doesn’t matter if you are Jewish, Italian or derived from any other background, as long as you have a mother you should be able to laugh at what goes on in this show. What tired, recycled jokes! I wanted to sleep, it was so bad, but the theatre was as cold as it was outside, maybe to keep the audience awake. Don't waste your money and time like I did!

I took my elderly (Jewish) father to see this play and I'm very sorry I did. I thought it would be "theater" but it was a stand-up comedy routine. I thought the material would be funny and poignant and bring out truths we could all identify with. This show is not meant for anyone under 65... and even those over should proceed with caution. I'm in my late 20s and went with two friends of mine in the same range, and we agreed it was a waste of a night (even with discount tix). The jokes were not clever, and the characters were cliche. The only positive was the acting--talented guy, but nothing could have saved this play.

The guy tells his story about his life before the theripist comes. It was so funny I was crying in my seat. Even details that you would not think the guy would say. It was sad when he played the piano and his nana diea. So you want to see something off-broadway. Don't wait til another strick.

STAY CLEAR! Old boring, heard them all before jokes! Not funny (except to the older jewish community). One man show needs another man! Sorry....

I was very disappointed with the show! My friend and I thought it would be more of the "Seinfeld" type of humor. Instead, we sat through raunchy bathroom jokes and bad sexual humor. This one man show belongs in the Catskills or in the senior sectors of Florida.

I wanted to see this show since it came out. Finally MY cuzin said I'll get ticket's! I was so excited until I read that it was a 1 man show?#@? So I resolved myself to say, OK I'm going to a comedy act. If you do that, you won't be disappointed.
Anyway it was very funny; we laughed the entire 1 1/2 hrs.!
The only suggestion I have is that he could do more Italian gesture's & the good old fashioned slang words.
