This was, overall, not the hilarious show I was expecting. I saw it on 11/6/09. Three of the four actors were great (particularly the shorter girl with the shoulder-length straight brown hair, she was fantastic!) but the other girl was awful. Her ridiculously long dramatic pauses during her stories was bordering on excruciating, and her one-trick valley girl persona was overacted. This, in conjunction with numerous stories that were not ... read more at all funny (rape, incest) really took away from what could have been a great show. Such a shame really, as I've seen so many shows at this theatre and have always loved them.
Just a disappointing way to spend a Friday night. |

| I was truly disappointed in the show. My friends and I were not entertained. What do you expect for this price. They told stories that they got off of the website but the stories went from funny to serious without time for you to change emotion so you ended up still laughing when they were talking about rape. I kept looking at watch. not a very good sign. I went with 8 of my friends and everyone felt the same. |

An really enjoyable night at the Theatre. My girlfriend and I were talking and laughing about the show and our first times for days afterward. We also now have an odd inside joke, so thanks MFT Cast!

| One of the worst shows I have ever seen. Some people were laughing, but they would laugh at anything. The only things I liked were the inclined seats, good music and informational statistics on the screen. |

| This was one of the funniest shows I have ever seen, and I really believe some of the off-broadway shows are better than the massive productions on broadway. This show had 2 guys and 2 girls, acting out thousands of "first times"...some were hilarious.. some were more serious... when you first get into the theatre, you fill out a survey.. my card and my boyfriends cards were chosen.. but don't worry... it is annonymous. | My friends and I decided to check out this show because we are big fans of Altar Boyz and thought we would check out another show from one of the creators. We didn't really know what to expect going in, (4 actors talking about first times having sex?) As it turns out, we had so much more fun than we had expected. | I was interested in the topic and the new theater that it was located in. However, I was disappointed in show. Two of the actors are very good but the other two are very amateurish. It also seemed very repetitive even though it was only an hour long. Don't expect a legitimate show...it is really just 4 people sitting on stools talking to the audience. |

I walked into the theater expecting to see a simple show made up of stories. We sat down and filled out a questioner that was on the seats. When the show started I was amazed by how Davenport had combined thousands of stories into one laugh out loud show. It keeps you on the edge of your seat right up to the end of the show. Enjoy it!

| This show is made up of stories submitted by people just like you and me. Combined will utter seamlessness. This show will have you laughing on the edge of your seat for a full hour and a half. Highly recommend this show! |

| My First Time is a brilliant show that is just as interesting as the title sounds. This show remains faithful to delivering the true stories of people's first sexual experiences and shedding some light on a subject many find to be off limits. The acting is impeccable and the execution of the production is flawless. I could not stop myself from laughing almost the entire night. Each actor brings a different element to My First Time and does ... read more each story justice by accurately portraying the emotions of other's first times. This show is perfect for any date or night out because once the show is over, it does not end there. I kept referring back to the show the entire night and it later lead to some very interesting conversations. Whats more is that My First Time is working with different sexual education organizations to help encourage sexual awareness and informed decision making. I am planning my next outing to My First Time and I suggest everyone else does so, because I can not imagine that tickets will be easy to secure once this takes off. I absolutely loved it. |
