There are better shows to see,(much better) Review by: jb, Sep 5, 2011 |
| This was by far the worst show in NYC I have ever seen. I read the reviews on this play from this site and I really wanted to like this show. Unfortunately it was impossible! There were 38 people in the audience (yes, just 38)and I cannot imagine they found Joyce Dewitt or her sidekick Paco funny either. The script was just plain bad and so was Joyce Dewitt. Shamelessly, I admit we walked out at the 30 minute mark. |

| Joyce DeWitt is very pleasant in the role. The funny is fun and funny. The guy playing her assistant is good, as well. Quaint theater. |

Not funny, not worth the time Review by: amsbroadway, Mar 29, 2011 |
| Show was very minimal. Idea was good but script was so bad that I couldn't really laugh even though I wanted to. Eve Plumb was out of her element - this was definitely not a Brady moment - she was very stiff and even her funny lines were hard to laugh at. Not worth the less than 90 minutes the show ran. |

Great night at the theater Review by: chirpingchicken, Mar 4, 2011 |
| We had a blast at this show! Good acting performances, really funny jokes, and they pulled my (very embarrassed) husband up on stage. What a hoot! |

It was OK funny here and there Review by: CrisNJ, Feb 21, 2011 |
| Fun to see Jan Brady on stage again... Paco was entertaining. It was Just OK for me... I did laugh here and there but be prepared for some cheesy lines and parts. They use the audience members so be prepared. We got discount tickets. I would not pay full price to see this show. |

Not worth it Review by: disappointed, Feb 6, 2011 |
| I just came back from the show. The acting was fine, but I found it to be barely entertaining, mostly corny and not worth the ticket price at all. I've been to to other off broadway shows and found this to be very amateur with a pretty dull plot. Go if you get a ticket $10 or less, otherwise don't bother. |

Miss Abigail.... light and fun...if you can see Review by: Diract 66, Jan 21, 2011 |
| This show was a lot of fun and got better as it went along. The theatre is very small and the further back you go the closer to the ceiling your head gets. The view is cut off by the people in front of you in the first three rows. Good performances but the essence of the show depends a lot on the audience as there is a lot of audience participation. I am sure the two actors will get better with each show at handling this, but they were a ... read more little awkward on my night. Very funny advise is handed out and the show goes quite fast. Miss Abigail has so many lines, she carries the entire show! Discounts available. I just wish it was in a better theatre for the audience sight lines! |

Review by: The Man, Nov 15, 2010 |
| I didn't like it. It was too silly and seemed to get worse as the show went on. The play lasted just over an hour and I was glad it was over. Eve Plumb was nice and signed autographs after the show. It wasn't her fault that the material was so bad. |

Review by: Michelle, Oct 20, 2010 |
| Miss Abigail’s Guide was a Blast! Our seats were fantastic, my sister and I really felt like we were a part of the show. Eve Plumb was so funny! we both used to watch The Brady Bunch all the time as kids, so it was thrilling to see her in person. We LOVE Paco! He was so cute and reminded us of Wilmer Valderrama. Seeing this show is an absolute must! |

A Delightful Off- Broadway Show Review by: Sharon, Oct 15, 2010 |
| As part of our annual girl's trip to New York in October, the 4 of us saw Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating last Sunday for the matinee performance. It was just delightful! Miss Abigail was a blend of Dr. Ruth and Miss Manners. The theater was very small and intimate and every employee we came in contact with was friendly and warm. There was a lot of interaction between the audience and the performers which was a lot of fun. There were only 2 ... read more cast members in the play. Miss Abigail was played by Eve Plumb, primarily known for her role as Jan Brady of the Brady Bunch. Her sidekick, Paco was played by the adorable and sexy Manuel Hererra. Although Eve Plumb was the known actress, the play would not have been nearly as good without Manuel. He was so funny and sweet. You couldn't take your eyes off him when he was on stage. Both Eve and Manuel were very gracious and took pictures after the play was over. I highly recommend seeing this if you want to see a play while in New York and can't afford some of the high ticket prices. |
