If you like rock and roll, and want to go on a nostalgic trip, go to see Million Dollar Quartet. The story of Sun Records' Sam Phillips and Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Elvis Presley comprise the plot of the play that is a jam session of real oldies but goodies set in Memphis in 1956. The music is ageless. The audience had people from the early teens to their 70's, and everyone had a great time. The actors are ... read more incredible musicians who look and sound like their namesakes. Levi Kreis, the piano player in the role of Jerry Lee Lewis, is an accomplished musician and arranger. It's an evening of pure entertainment. Bring the kids. |
