GREAT RAINSTORM PROVOKES BRILLIANT ACTING BY FEMALE STARS Review by: DOSSIE, Apr 12, 2009 |
| Act I was static, talky, and colorless. Act II, beginning in a rainstorm, ( a scenic wonder!) was dramatic and brilliantly acted by the two female stars. The first ending - there appeared to be three of them- commanded applause by the audience; the second slipped by without applause; and the third, the final, fizzled, although it resulted in a standing ovation. Since the show, running 2 hours and 50 minutes, is in preview, perhaps it will ... read more retreat to the FIRST curtain. |

Very engrossing, excellent acting Review by: Auntie Em, Apr 11, 2009 |
| Very interesting story and very well acted. Before I went I was a little put off by the fact it was almost 3 hours long, but the time went very quickly and the pace was good. The story ws engrossing and lead actors especially very very good. |
