| We thought the acting was tremendous. Went with a friend who is a Twain fan and has seen other impersonators around the country. The actor was as good or better than anyone he says. I thought the idea was very clever. Especially enjoyed the political commentary during that last 20 minutes or so. I would have loved to see more of that during the first 60. I have seen Holbrook's show. This well with that, but I didn't laugh a lot in either show. ... read more This Twain was deeper and more thoughtful than I would have expected. | I did laugh a couple of times, but mostly the story just wasn't that great. I enjoyed being with friends that night, but the show not so much. One person of our group loves Mark Twain, so we chose this show. Afterwards we shared our experience and all felt the same way that we would not recommend it (5 out of 5). It was a nice little theatre and that part we enjoyed. |

| I saw this show at another theatre because I like Twain. I expected a Holbrook knockoff and was ready to compare. Boy was I wrong! Alan Kitty's commanding stage presence, unique interpretation of Twain and a tour de force performance made me wonder why I never heard of this actor before, and hope I will hear of him again. |
