It's your LOSS if you don't see it now! Review by: Diract 66, Mar 18, 2012 |
Every woman should relate to at least 90% of this show and the other 10% is about people you know. This is an excellent Reader's Theatre production. In this case, five women sit on high back chairs and appear to be reading their scripts, but believe me they know the material well and all five that I saw put in so much character and emotion with their readings that you could see and feel each person they portrayed. Marriages, Bras, ... read more Pocketbooks( the funniest), Weight, Breast Cancer, Shoes, etc. are all in this show. Laughter abounds in this show. No bright lights, big sets, colorful costumes, music and dancing, but a throughly enjoyable evening..... and this is THEATRE for those of you who think otherwise. Interpretation and vocal quality rules. See it before it closes, while discounts are available.

Review by: Carmelita Larson, Mar 12, 2012 |
| I've seen this show twice in the past two months, featuring two different casts. I absolutely loved it & felt like I was seeing two completely different shows because of the actor's portrayal of their characters. It's a great show for girlfriends or sisters to see together. A relaxing, wonderful evening out in New York! |

So enjoyable! Review by: LAM, Jan 16, 2012 |
| Saw this with my sister. Great, entertaining show! Definitely a chick show! I don't think men would get it. I bought discount tx so it was surely worth it! I don't think a $79 ticket would have been worth it only because for $79 you could maybe get tickets to a musical. This show is 80 mts long with no intermission. VEry small theater, so any seat is awesome. Just a fun day out! |

Woudn't see ever again Review by: Mila, Jan 15, 2012 |
This is not a play but readings, you can see that they are reading it...I would expect like on other shows people on stage remember their words... I saw this one after Seminar. It seemed like not very well done attempt to do something beautiful in the idea. |

Great theme and cast, missing only one thing Review by: Tom, Aug 6, 2011 |
| It's a reading not a play, but the material is top drawer and consistently entertaining. Still, if one is looking for acting via a story, which is the reason most people go to the theatre and not the reading room of Barnes and Noble to begin with, best to look elsewhere. |

Highly recommend Review by: LLC NOLA, Oct 19, 2010 |
| Saw the July cast on a trip to NYC with a group of women friends. A number of vignettes about life and love told through the eyes of women in the context of what they wore. Really resonated with all in our group and, based on audience reactions, with everyone there. Very few men in the audience for this performance but I think the stories were compelling enough to cross gender lines. |

Definitely a Woman's Show Review by: Carol, Aug 22, 2010 |
| This show definitely explores the relationship women have with their clothes to put on a show for others. Men will not have the same feeling about the show. (My husband went to sleep.) However, I still rhapsodize over some things I wore as a child more than half a century ago! Nora and Delia Ephron capture the ecstasy and agony of wearing the right thing at the right time and looking good. |

Great show! Go see... Review by: Goodshow, Jun 28, 2010 |
I really enjoyed this play. We saw it with Sherri Shepherd and she was great, but all of the cast members were very good. Just a fun afternoon play, it starts early and goes by quickly, (no intermission). The play is made up of many monologues that create a mosaic of all ages of life. There were many women in the audience, but a few men too. If you can, get seats in the center, since there are 4 poles along the aisles that ... read more slightly block the view. |

Hang out with your friends...and a few celebrities... Review by: HBS, May 16, 2010 |
| Spent a great afternoon listening to the cast of Love Loss and What I Wore unite the audience by sharing stories common to all women with both humor and serious commentary. I enjoyed the entire cast, especially Brooke Shields, but was surprised most by LaTanya Richardson Jackson. She was the member I knew least about when entering the theater and upon exiting I was most impressed with. This is a great girls night out experience. Grab ... read more your friends and go!! |

Great Value Review by: Leaflea, May 11, 2010 |
| For $21 matinee, I sat within 10 feet of Brooke Shields and the mom from "Everyone Loves Raymond." Perfect for my sisters, mom and I. Only 3 men in the theater and I felt sorry for them. But the ladies all could appreciate it. Rotating cast, and they didn't memorize their lines, so that was a bit distracting. Still, so worth it. |
