Not vintage but quite good Review by: JW, Apr 21, 2008 |
| This isn't vintage Jackie Mason material, but it is funny enough to warrant buying a ticket for. Performing solo as usual, Mason fares best when poking fun at ethnic differences or institutions such as marriage, less so with topical humor commentary about the current political landscape. But what makes Mason special anyway is not so much his jokes per se, but the inimitable style in which he delivers them (it's so air tight that ... read more he could probably give a performance 15 minutes after awakening from a sound sleep). And even if you laugh half the time, that's plenty, and you'll be plenty entertained as I was. |
