I'm going again. Review by: Ken, Apr 22, 2006 |
| What a wonderful and refreshing show. I saw the show in D.C. and was so impressed that I ordered tickets to see it again in N.Y.C. on May 6th. I'm almost 60 and fell in love with the high-energy, modern dance. |

Hot Feet - Hot! Review by: Blair72, Apr 14, 2006 |
I completely disagree with the previous reviewers comments. It sounds to me like someone with an axe to grind.
I witnessed a flawed production, yes, but a wildly entertaining one. The dancing and choreography are first-rate. The band sounds very close to perfect (in fact, because you don't see them, it sounded like the original EWF songs were just piped in). At the performance I attended in Washington DC, the crowd gave the performers ... read more a standing ovation at the conclusion. Many of the audience members were quite enthusiastic about the show - a definite crowd-pleaser!
If you love dance, I recommend this show heartily. I think it will do well on Broadway!! |

Great Show but not quite ready for prime time Review by: Mary, Apr 13, 2006 |
Though almost three hours long, the show soared by with fabulous colors, intense dance, beautiful costumes, an appropriately sparse set, and wonderful performances - including Balderrama - a knockout as Anthony. But Kalimba deserves better. I saw the show in DC on April 9th. Vivian Nixon is a wonderful dancer but I was surprised to see her pantomime part of her songs. There are thousands of "triple threats" who could run with the role. ... read more The show would be greatly improved with a replacement in this role. |

| It was funny, poignant and absolutely entertaining. I would highly recommend seeing. What a refreshing interpretation of The Red Shoes. I would absolutely see again. |

Review by: Ralph, Mar 28, 2006 |
| A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. The story could have been made into a good show, but it was not. The music is dreadful, and when music is bad they often turn the volume up to maybe 10 times normal Broadway volume in order to drown out the shortcomings. This cheap trick was done here. The choriography was stale and boring, nothing you haven't seen twenty times before. Maurice Hines is not his brother; his brother knew what dancing was about. |
