Bad, very, very, bad. Review by: don't have one, Jun 22, 2006 |
| Unoriginal, hackneyed choreography that even Earth, Wind and Fire couldn't save. They borrowed from everyone and didn't even have the talent to present that coherently. We walked out during intermission, need I say more? |

Kudos to Maurice Hines Review by: dancing fool, Jun 16, 2006 |
| Six dancers including myself attended the show last night and we were all surprised how good the show was!! If people listen to the critics they don't get a true account of this great show. The entire cast and I mean ENTIRE CAST was awesome. There were times the dancing was repetitious but all in all great. Two of our favs were Wynonna Smith and Samantha Pollino. Just by walking on the stage Wynonna makes you laugh. Samantha Pollino is a ... read more pint size dancer that worked the stage. Kudos to Maurice Hines for pulling together a great cast. A must see!!!! |

Great Show Review by: Susan, Jun 15, 2006 |
| WOW!!!! This cast is fabulous! They work!!!The energy through out the was high. My family and I really enjoyed this show. A nice surprise for my kids was at the end when the little girl (Samantha Pollino) comes out and dances with the cast and then by herself. My daughter wants to get back into dance so thank you Samantha for the inspiration. I highly recommend this show!! You will be dancing and singing at the end!!!!! |

Vivian Dixon Soars Review by: Wandaful, Jun 12, 2006 |
| This play falls short on the story line but delivers big by way of the music. Vivian Dixon, the leading lady, danced her way into my heart. I was mesmerized by her classical body movements and quick foot movements. She was spellbinding. The supporting cast wasn't up to par but all in all the show was entertaining. |

Go; It's fun! Review by: Dee, Jun 12, 2006 |
| Saw this on a Saturday matinee performance. The principal dancer was out & the understudy there. The interesting thing about this show was the orchestra. Believe it is the first show I've attended that had vocalists in the pit. There is one scene in the show where they turn off a large boombox and the music stops. At this point, my husband & I looked at each other in amazement; we both had the same thought: The "music" coming ... read more from the boombox was, in fact, coming from the pit & was phenomenal! The show was surely entertaining. Would like to have seen the mother shown more prominently, her voice was subperb. Go. It's fun. |

Will have you dancing in your seats-and wanting to jump on stage Review by: scottie , Jun 12, 2006 |
| This show will appeal to anyone who loves dance music, soul/jazz/earth wind and fire and/or an uplifting high energy theatre experience with a soulful story line. I really enjoyed the dance routines/ choreography and the dancers were amazing- high energy, really connected to the music. The costumes were great- and the spirit and energy of the ensemble was wonderful to see/ the vocals were great.I was dancing in my seat and wanted to jump ... read more on stage and join in- it was the kind of show that lifts your spirits and makes you want to get up there and dance yourself. My only thoughts for an alternative production would be to have the dancers also do some of the singing - or have the vocalists visible somewhere on stage- but I wouldn't want to take anything away from the ensemble of dancers who were amazing. |

Great dancing and singing Review by: , Jun 11, 2006 |
| Went to see Hot Feet about one month ago. The reviews were bad, but I think the show was excellent. The story was okay, the dancing and singing were fabulous. The cast was outstanding and I would recommend that show anytime to anyone. The critics are wrong. These days you can't even find an original play on broadway. All are coming back as revivals. |

Bad story, ok music.....don't think it was worth it. Review by: dvl519, Jun 11, 2006 |
I recently saw this show at a Saturday matinee. Other than the music, the show lacked a believable storyline. Yes I know its a musical, but the lead male dancer and the lead female dancer are not the couple that you would normally expect to get together. The songs come out of nowhere and the dancing sometimes looks like they are all just doing their own thing. I love Broadway, but I just can't recommend this show to anyone ... read more unless you ingnore the dialog and stay just to hear the music.

LOVED THE LITTLE GIRL SAMANTHA POLLINO Review by: carm, Jun 10, 2006 |
| The show was just OK!!! The dancing could be better. The little girl Samantha Pollino was awesome. When she comes out at the end and dances it makes you wonder why she's not dancing more in the show! Being a dancer its evident the talent and training this little girl has. I did enjoy the music. |

NEVER AGAIN!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Review by: Mel, Jun 8, 2006 |
| I love the theater; however, this was by far one of the worst productions I have had to bear witness!! The sole, saving grace was the rendition of Earth, Wind and Fire Songs. The dancing was monotonous- each routine a mere variation of the one before!!! The costumes were generic and in many cases over the top. Overall, it was nothing more than a step above a high school performance at best! |

Should be called Cold Feet Review by: Dee, May 28, 2006 |
| I saw this show on Saturday May 27th and I must say I was very disappointed. I will wager the show will be cancelled by July. I'm surprised that the choreography wasn't as good as I had expected it to be. Earth Wind and Fire should be asking to have their name removed from the program! |

A Must See! Review by: Wandaful, May 28, 2006 |
| Although the story line is whimsical, predictable and simple, the music and dancing make up for the lack of a brillant story line. The lead danced by Vivian Dixon is exceptional. She moves like a dream. The supporting actors are okay but the focus is definitely on Ms. Dixon. I recommend this show for an evening of fun and delightful entertainment. |

A nice afternoon to spend with the family. Review by: Carole, May 22, 2006 |
| The show was a great way to spend the afternoon family and friends. I also like the way they used the premise of one of my favorite movies as a child "The Red Shoes" which I own on DVD. The dancing was very energetic, could have been tighter in some areas. They didn't give Ann Duquesnay enough songs, her voice is amazing. |

THE STANDING OVATION SAYS IT ALL! Review by: Mr. Broadway, May 21, 2006 |
Hot Feet was wonderful! If I didn't live 2000 miles away I would see it again. I've even contemplated returning to NY for a weekend so my wife could see it!
Let me just say regardless of all the critiques and reviews, Hot Feet got a unanimous standing ovation by the majority of the audience. That says it all right there! The music is a 10. This is Earth Wind and Fire's greatest hits! I've never seen such energy like the dancers ... read more in the show. Normally I start looking at my watch and take a little snooze during a show but not this one! |

Home Made Costumes don't belong on Broadway! Review by: Sugabosom, May 13, 2006 |
| Home made costumes don't belong on Broadway! I know you can't always expect Lion King costume quality - but my goodness! The outfits seemed like some were purchased from the Halloween costume store. The dancing was repetitive: jump, kick, and twirl around; that was it! My husband and I are AVID theater attendees, and I must say this was not as good as some of the Off Broadway shows we've attended. Why didn't they consult Debbie Allen for ... read more some additional dance moves! Overall I give this show a 5 out of 10. |
