I saw this show for my twelfth birthday, with my mom. It had high energy, a great, and everything you would want. I enjoyed
most of it, but I saw the movie and of course I compared it.
See it and you'll have a blast! |

| I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could see it all over again. I saw the show twice and it just keeps getting better every time. The cast is great. Motormouth Maybelle had the best voice in the show. Jenifer Lewiswas a better Motormouth than Darlene Love Seaweed is great. I saw his understudy, Travis Robertson, and he was fabulous. If that was his understudy, I can't even imagine how good the actual Seaweed could be. The original Corny ... read more Collins, Clarke Thorell, is back! He started the broadway show as Corny Collins and he is the best. He took a break and now he is back and as good as new. If you ever listen to the broadway CD of hairspray, the Corny Collins on the CD is the same one playing Corny Collins now. Link Larkin, Ashley Parker Angel, was okay and Marissa Perry, Tracy, was good. She wasn't as good as Shannon Durig but she was still a great Tracy! Edna was a laugh out loud character. George Wendt was hilarious. He is very chubby and when he dances, just the way that he jiggles changes the whole show. Over all,this was a great cast and a great experience. See it while you can. |

| My son(13), friend and I took a 3 day trip to New York(1st time for all). We thought we would take in a broadway show. We wanted to see Lion King but we were offered Hairspray for 1/2 off so we took the deal. I am so glad we did. We all enjoyed it so much. When everyone asks my son what was his favorite part of New york he says seeing Hairspray. George Wendt was wonderful and so was the entire cast. I highly recommend this show. |

| I've seen Hairspray four times and it just keeps getting better! My faves were George Wendt, Niki Scalera, and SUSAN MOSHER! She is so hilarious when she plays her three different characters. "God I'm lonely" is beyond hilarious. All of them were terrific, actually. Marissa Perry is great, but not as good as Shannon Durig. But, don't let that stop you from seeing the show! It's amazing! | This was fantastic! I had seen both versions of the movie but I was bowled over by how specacular the show was! Marissa Perry and Ashley Parker Angel were suberb. I saw it this past weekend and I'm already planning to see it again this summer. A MUST-SEE! |

| it was my first Broadway show and i've seen it twice over all...the dancing, plot, singing, and well basically everything is so much fun and i always leave the theatre wanting to sing and dance...the singing and acting are excellent and you will fall in love with the characters (except maybe Amber and Velma)...definitely the best choice for winning Best Musical at the Tony's in 2003...a must see for everyone |

Wow! Amazing! Funny! Leaves you feeling great!
Saw the movie but the show is even better. You got a great view from every seat in the theater. I went with my mother and since we got seats at the last minute we had one seat in the orchestra and one in the last row of the highest mezzanine. I started off downstairs and moved up at intermission but the view was really good even from high up.
Had the best time, truly recommend it! |

| hairspray is amazing!the best show on broadway!i saw it twice and i can go over and over again.the music is great,the actors are great,all of the production is awesome!you leave there with a new look on life and if you are having a bad day and you go see this you will forget about everything :).i hope everyone goes to see HAIRSPRAY! |

| Hairspray was FABULOUS! You'll walk out with a spring in your step and a smile from ear to ear! My 9 year old daughter loved it as much as I did. Great cast, great message, great show! After the show, the cast was great about signing autographs and taking pictures too. Take the whole family to see this one. |

GREAT!! My 10 & 7 yr old daughters loved it too.
So much fun we didn't want it to end. The best part was seeing "Norm" from cheers as a woman! Never a dull moment through the whole play. Well Done! |
