GREAT show!!! Thanks for the memories! Review by: Floridafam, Jul 17, 2009 |
| Took my 13 y/o daughter to NYC in May, we saw three shows, Wicked, South Pacific and Guys and Dolls. All were outstanding, but Guys and Dolls was our favorite. It was high energy and spirited, it seemed like it was over too soon! Plus, after the show, the cast was very affable, signing autographs and taking pictures. |

Loved IT!!! Sorry to see it close...a real shame. Review by: Alice, Jun 12, 2009 |
| Just got back from seeing the show and I thought it was sensational. It was arguably the best musical I've seen...and I've seen many. This rendition of the show was beautifully sung, acted and the sets were magnificent. A real shame that it is closing on Sunday. |

I loved it Review by: Sarah, Jun 5, 2009 |
| I read the reviews after buying the tickets, and was nervous about what we would see, but I had a great time. I had never seen the show performed before, and maybe that makes a difference - I wasn't comparing it to anything else. I thought it was great fun, and Lauren Graham was a joy to watch in the role of Adelaide, she made it quirky and cute, and did a creditable job with the singing and a great job with the dancing. Some of the minor ... read more characters, especially the guy who played Benny, did a great job too. It was a lot of fun, perhaps not the performance of a lifetime, but a great night out! |

Great Show!!! Review by: Cindy, May 31, 2009 |
Thoroughly enjoyed this musical. Kept your interest at all times. I went with my boyfriend who doesn't care for musicals and he really enjoyed the show. Lauren Graham, Craig Bierko and Kate Jennings Grant were fantastic!! I think it's a great show for dates or ladies night out. Left you with a feel-good attitude.

Wonderful show, go and see it! Review by: Joylery, May 7, 2009 |
I went to see Guys and Dolls on 5/6 with a friend and we loved it! Never mind what the critics say, go and see it for yourself, it is great. Nicely, Nicely rocked with his version of "Sit Down, You're rocking the Boat"! I would go and see it again! |

Review by: lkloc, May 4, 2009 |
I saw this on 5/3 and really enjoyed it. As a big fan of classic Broadway, I'm so glad I chose this show. Oliver was not there, so I can't comment on how his contribution/chemistry may have made the show different. But, I loved Lauren Graham's portrayal of Adelaide. I thought her voice/delivery were adorable. I'm not generally a fan of TV stars/pop stars (especially) on Broadway, but I thought Lauren was great. Besides, to me she just seems ... read more like a regular actor, not a "celebrity." I also enjoyed the sets and other actors. The music/dancing was great! I did feel the goings on backstage and stage left was a bit distracting. I could see the stage manager and others at times and hear lots of moving about stage right. Maybe that's common, I'm not used to sitting so close to the stage. And maybe if the crew, who may be visible to the audience at times, wore period costumes it wouldn't spoil the effect. After the show, Lauren was very sweet to my 12 yo daughter at the stage door signing her playbill. She was leaving at the time we got there, but came over when she saw my daughter, playbill in hand, and took the time to say a few words. She is a big fan of "Gilmore Girls" and was thrilled! |

FLAT- Same Old Same Old Review by: , Apr 18, 2009 |
| FLAT- Can't compare to the other revival. Bored at times. Sit Down Your Rockin The Boat is worth admission (if u are a big Broadway fan). Craig Bierko was owned the show and Mary Testa stole the show for the 5 minutes she was in it. You can skip this show, go see it at your local high school for the same night out. |

Great family show, would definitely see again! Review by: krispyc333, Apr 18, 2009 |
| Guys and Dolls was the perfect show to see if your are looking for talented actors and singers, a great orchestra, and an all-around good time. Oliver Platt and Craig Bierko are fabulous, while Kate Jennings Grant is adorable. I saw the understudy for Lauren Graham play Miss Adelaide. She was a little shaky in the Hot Box scenes, but superb in Marry the Man Today. Either Oliver Platt did a complete makeover of his portrayal of Nathan Detroit, or ... read more the reviews were all wrong. From the reviews and from what I had seen on YouTube, he was a boring character who had completely misinterpreted Nathan, but he was just great when I saw him. Some of the high points of the show are The Oldest Established, I'll Know, Guys and Dolls, I've Never Been In Love Before, the Crapshooter's Dance, and an absolutely AMAZING Sit Down You're Rockin The Boat, performed by Tituss Burgess (and Mary Testa). |

Classic American Musical Review by: Carol, Apr 13, 2009 |
| The show was fun. The music is enduring and leaves people humming as they exit the theater. Oliver Platt and Craig Bierko were surprisingly good in the lead roles. This is the classic American musical in which the story line drives the music instead of the other way around as is the contrived modern method with ABBA or other recent musicals. |

Bierko and the background dancers make teh show. Review by: Must see broadway, Apr 10, 2009 |
| The show was great...but the casting for the leads was questionable. Nathan (Platt) was not that convincing and it seamed that he wasnt having fun...too bad. Craig Bierko was AMAZING. He was so great and so was his partner. The background dancers were also just great. They need new talent for the leads but leave Bierko and the girl that played Sarah....otherwise it could be better. |
