Great Revival of a Classic Review by: Legs, Dec 29, 2012 |
| Clifford Odets wrote beautiful plays and this revival is done exquisitely. Tony Shalhoub is wonderful as Joe's Papa and the rest of the cast does the play justice, as well. Danny Burstein is a stand-out, as always. Golden Boy is terrific -- 75 years old and this story still rings true. |

Review by: kernel, Dec 22, 2012 |
| The acting is superb but the story is truly dated in that the story line is predictable. There are two intermissions and show ended at 10:55 PM. |

Terrific revival with outstanding Tony Shaloub Review by: aseatontheaisle, Dec 7, 2012 |
| This is not a deep play and it breaks no new ground. But given the limitations of the play itself, it is highly entertaining and this production (including set design, acting and direction) is as good as it gets. Tony Shaloub in the role of Mr. Bonaparte, Joe’s father, really steals the show. |
