Absolutely Fantastic Show! Review by: Lilly, Aug 16, 2012 |
Absolutely the best Broadway show I have ever seen! I did not have high expectations - so I was blown away! Makes you laugh, cry, and cheer. Standing ovation at the end. Acting and production were great. EVERYONE should see this before it closes! I went with 4 very critical people and all loved it! Amazing!!!!! |

Make your on decision... and Fast....Mine...Great Show. Review by: Diract 66, Aug 16, 2012 |
| Sometimes you should make decisions for yourself. The decision for Ghost, the Musical was made by the critics and that is too bad. You are missing a very good musical with excellent performances by Cassie Levy, Richard Fleeshman, and Da'Vine Joy Randolph. Go for yourself and see this show. The technical aspects of the set being done with electronics is not new for me having seen a show like this before on Broadway years ago, also shuttered by ... read more the critics too soon. Yes, you will cry or at least get that lump in your throat. You wait for the clay making scene and wish it would have gone on longer, tender and loving as it is. Da'Vine's, Oda Mae is funny in the show and her two big numbers are done well but the Act Two number is way too long and, I feel, just was put in to take advantage of her talent and to extend the length of the show. I good show that needed more of a life on Broadway, just as Sam needed more of a life with Molly in this musical. No electronics for all those playhouses, high schools, and community theatres across the country, but it will still work in it's life after Broadway. |

So glad I IGNORED THE CRITICS, Review by: GothProf, Aug 11, 2012 |
| I see about 30 NYC shows a year and I LOVED GHOST! Saw it twice, and just bought tkts for its closing performance. Powerful cast, a wonderful score, and very edgy use of projections.(though I can see why some may not like the projections, I loved them. I felt they added layers of meaning backing up the romance and relationships). I'm so glad I ignored the critics on this one. I would have hated to miss ... read more this extrodinary new musical which deserves a MUCH longer run. (Spiderman the mess anyone?) it's a great evening- and a wonderful tale! I'm glad to see that musical theater keeps reinventing itself with new forms. Yeh, it IS based on another familiar movie, but who cares?! The story is wonderful and this musical rocks! |

DON'T LEAVE BROADWAY! Review by: BigKen, Aug 9, 2012 |
| Knowing it was closing, I wanted to see what I would be missing. It was a good show filled with fantastic special effects. It also had good music, and actors who had wonderful singing voices. I guess the critics did not like the scenes projected onto the screens (like they did not like it in Andrew Lloyd Webber's LADY IN WHITE). But the audience did. A standing ovation from as soon as the musical ended. It should NOT close. Word ... read more of mouth could save it! |

Amazing special effects! Review by: NYCGal13, Jul 30, 2012 |
When I first found out that Ghost was going to be a musical on Broadway, I told myself that it will be a flop and I won't waste my time or money seeing it. I'm a big fan of the movie and didn't think a musical would do it justice. But then I read the great reviews and decided to give it a chance. I'm very happy that I did. The show was wonderful. The plot is basically the same as the movie (with a few scenes tweaked here and there). ... read more The actors were so talented and the special effects were amazing..the best special effects I have ever seen on Broadway. I still don't understand how they did the things they did. If you liked or loved the movie, go see the musical. You won't regret it! |

Glad I didn't listen to critics Review by: , Jul 28, 2012 |
| I was always curious about this play, and finally went. It was amazing! I'm in my mid-twenties and have seen many broadway plays. This easily ranked in my top 3. It made me tear up several times, it made me laugh, and it amazed me with the special effects! The actors had great chemistry as well. Its a must see- not just for the movie's fans. |

Review by: Mike C, Jul 27, 2012 |
| I saw Ghost the other night and all I can say is that the critics don't know what they were talking about. The show was simply great from beginning to end. The special effects were amazing, outstanding music, singing and dancing, and Da'Vine Joy Randolph as Oda Mae simply steals the show. I really can't believe that the box office is so bad that this show is closing already. If it only has one month left as they say, then don't ... read more miss the opportunity to see it. BTW, Da'Vine was robbed in not winning a Tony for her role as Oda Mae. |

Great magic Review by: tonybronx77, Jul 2, 2012 |
| Had been meaning to see the show for some time - finally got some tickets and was quite impressed. The "effects", which I am going to refer to as magic tricks, were beyond cool. I have never seen stuff like that brought into a show so it really made me respect the production. It was a job well done, I give it two thumbs up. |

Very enjoyable show Review by: Ed H, Jun 30, 2012 |
| Finally got to see " Ghost" and was not disappointed. Really enjoyed everything in the show,it is definitely worth seeing. Caissie Levy and Richard Fleeshman have great voices as well as terrific chemistry, but Da'vine joy Randolph as Oda Mae steals the show, really felt she was robbed by not getting a tony award for best supporting actress. The special effects and set designs are amazing, the best I've seen.Totally was blown away by the subway ... read more scene.Thoroughly enjoyed the music and am looking forward to getting the CD.Hope to see this show again and again, just like I have done with the movie. |
