Take the kids Review by: ElDee, May 4, 2009 |
Take the kids. An hour and a quarter of bubbles accompanied by a blaring musical soundtrack. Our 2 and half year old granddaughter was enchanted, as were most of the kids in the audience. We saw children in the 9 and 10 year-old range who also seem to be enthralled. They also birthday parties and apparently, this show is here to stay at the New World. |

Nice Family Fun Review by: A Family Guy, Apr 27, 2009 |
| Great for kids, and even for those oh-so-hard-to-please teenagers. No orchestra or elaborate scenery changes, just talent and imagination. If you're looking for some insight into the meaning of life, skip this one. If you want a small respite from the daily rigors of life, check this out. Enjoyable good clean fun. Discounts are pretty easy to come by. Try for the first few rows . . . |

Great for kids- Review by: ctfamily, Apr 13, 2009 |
| After reading the reviews, I thought that my kids 6 & 11 years old would totally hate the show and be bored after 5 minutes-- but it was not that bad-- if your expectations are not that high-- you can enjoy the show-- aimed particularly at kids-- I have to admit after seeing her blow what seems to be the same type of bubble time and time again it was not that interesting but she managed to break the monotony by having kid participate onstage ... read more and have the audience participation with the big balls and of course the gazillions of bubbles blow your way. Dont buy full price tickets -- at discount price it was ok not a bargain --it could be even cheaper -- but your kids might really enjoy it after all. |

My eight-year old was bored. Review by: Paulie, Mar 18, 2009 |
| The show is geared towards children from about 2-6 years old and they all seemed to LOVE it. However, I would find a way to entertain your kids another way because you will be bored! He had a couple of good tricks, but you can only do so much with bubbles. Their attempt at a story was pathetic! Don't go to this. |

Gazillion bubbles? I could have used just 1,000 GREAT bubbles instead. A gazillion boring ones too many. Review by: cookie, Feb 22, 2009 |
Well, Having seen the show the weekend of Feb 22, 2009 I can say my kids barely enjoyed the show. My wife and I took our 5 yr old daughter and 3 yr old son who had mixed feelings. My 5 yr old daughter told us she was bored 30 min into the show. Our 3 yr old said it was fun. As for us adults we agreed it was like watching a ballon magician at a kids b day party, nothing thrilling AT ALL and quite boring. There were a handful ... read more of interesting tricks with the bubbles that were new to us but the rest was really BORING. We found discounted tickets at 36 a pop and taxes and all came to 41.6 a tickets for row f center theatre. Premium seats selling for $80 + are surely NOT worth the price. We went for an 11am show and the theatre that holds 500 was less than 1/3 full. If it were not for the discounted tickets we found paying 55-60 a ticket is something we would surely NOT have done. The ending was probably the most entertaining with 8 foot huge white beach balls being pushed around the audience and then the laser lights display and bubbles floating all over the audience was nice. I personally sat there waiting to be entertained and well for 80 of the 85 min show I truly wasn't.
The car parking across the street at $35 for an SUV was beyond silly and unless U plan to spend the whole day parked there its surely NOT worth it. Gazillion bubbles is BEST for kids under 3 perhaps. We even bought a toy at the show with my 5 yr old thinking she could recreate blowing a bubble through existing bubbles but to her dissapointment the on stage bubble solution used to create those effects are NOT the same stuff sold in packaging. |

Not Worth The Ticket price Review by: Lorrie, Oct 11, 2008 |
We paid $400 for 6 of us to see it and don't feel we got our money's worth. the show is a bit cheesy: and all the video seems like a big attempt to sell us a show that we have already paid to see. Picking a few kids out and making a big deal of giving them presents after tey got to go on stage was obviously painful for some kids. the soundtrack was so annoying. My 5 yo like about 3/4 of the show-I would have liked it if tix were about $30 each.... read more. It's like a nightclub act-not a big $ performance.

Enjoyable FLuff Review by: Terry, Sep 6, 2008 |
I thought this show was lots of fun, I really don't understand all of the negative comments. Yes, it is about bubbles, the kids in the audience were really enjoying it, and this big kid enjoyed it as well. I will agree that paying full price would make one feel "ripped off". THis show is always discounted so take advantage of that. I thought the music was wonderful and the performer very charming.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY: IF you see this show make sure your bring a child no older than 5. We feel ripped-off. It is ultra-low budget. DO NOT pay full price the show is worth $8.00. You can get more entertain by going to Central Park and renting a bike or going to the zoo. It was boring and not the spectacular ahow we were told it was. |

Bubble, bubble, toil + trouble Review by: McBeth, Jul 20, 2008 |
| It's a one-trick pony, and once the trick is done, the audience is done. I went with my two grandsons, ages 10 and 7. They were awed and amazed for the first 5 minutes. I was awed and amazed for the first three. It's really quite remarkable what the "star" of the show can do in creating bubbles. However, if it's not quite, "seen one bubble, you've seen 'em all," it's close. Basically the show is a 10-minue ... read more "extravaganza" appropriate for a vaudville type show. One-and-a-half hours of bubbles? I don't think so! Even at a discount. 7-20-2008 |

BUBBLE SHOW WAS A BLAST Review by: MommySince2002, Apr 7, 2008 |
| I took my soon to be 6 year old son to this show and we both loved it. I paid for the premium seats and we sat in the front row so my son (and the other kids in the front row) were able to run up to the stage and "pop" the bubbles. We loved the show, (especially my son) I thought it was entertaining and very different. My son wants to see it again. Most people should realize that by the title, the show is really only about bubbles. She ... read more (Ana his wife) did bubbles with light effects (bubbles looked like rainbows), lazer lights, smokes, bubbles in bubbles, dancing bubbles, smoke rings with bubbles etc. Everyone in the audience seemed to love it and screamed for more. Thousands of bubbles come out into the audience. If you have the chance, go and enjoy it for what it is! |

NOT WORTH THE $$ Review by: mom of 2, Mar 19, 2008 |
I took my 7 year old and 4 year old to see the show and it was OK. Defenitely not worth the $$ we paid. We got discounted tickets at $40- each and I think we overpaid. Cute show only if the tickets were $15- to $20- each. Save your money and go to ToysR US and load up on a bubble machine and other products. Will be more worth while! I was also very surpirsed to hear the woman use the word "suck" during her show while handing out prizes ... read more to the children who were chosen out of the audience. We are trying to teach our children manners and proper language, her comment blew me away. It was inappropriate for a children's show. Pass on this one!!! |
