Overall I give it C minus the fist half a B the second a resounding D
The second half is endless wailing with no dance and I was hoping the cast would take a energy drink as there was none on stage,
If you love Flamenco dancing you will wonder why there is so little of it in this production which for long periods gives a feel of frustrated ballet dancers, If you wanted to see ballet then NY offers it at a far higher level than so called ... read more fusion into Flamenco
With the exception of one dance the level of passion was at the level of a yawn.
My gut tells me if the audience was given a free passes to see it again there would be few takers . |
