Skip It! Review by: Carol, May 8, 2010 |
| This is one to pass up. Although imaginatively and lavishly staged, it is cumbersome in its tale. There is not one character that an audience member can relate to. |

Great acting and creative script highlight interesting show Review by: AnnabelleCat, Apr 26, 2010 |
| My wife and I saw this show this weekend, and enjoyed it more than we thought we would. We were a little skeptical about a multi-media portrayal of what was basically an accounting and legal saga in U.S. business history. But, the way the story is presented is very engaging, and in some ways very creative. More than anything, the acting won us over. In particular, the actors playing Skilling and Fastow did an excellent job projecting the ... read more character strengths and flaws of these individuals without resorting to over-the-top exaggeration or characature. We would strongly recommend this show. |

Come take Enron 101! Review by: , Apr 12, 2010 |
The less you know about Enron the more you will enjoy a dramatic and entertaining rundown of the rise and rapid fall of Enron. The arcane accounting matters are reduced to easily understood concepts and "visual aids" will help fill in the gaps. All the villains are here: Jeff Skilling, Ken Lay, Andy Fastow and Rebecca Marks (who becomes a Claudia Roe in the play). Monsters in raptor heads play the off-balance sheet entities that help ... read more drag down Enron. There is a bit of music, some dancing and some special effects that make the tale dramatic. What the play lacks is some real drama and we really do not get to learn too much about the personal lives of the players so, in the end, we have more of a class in Enron's story then a dramatic story on the stage. |
