I saw the first preview on Friday night and thought the show was very entertaining. I am not as enthusiastic as the first poster but it is absolutely worth seeing.
This musical has many memorable songs, as opposed to other musicals where you can't hum one thing.
I thought some of the men were weak, but Chester Gregory as Earley stole the show, IMHO.

| Saw the matinee today, 2 standing ovations, one during the first act while the show was on! Incredible!!!! I'm an avid theater goer and this was absolutely one of the best plays ever! Dreamgirls at the Apollo what could be better, absolutely nothing!!!! Get tickets before they sell out this is only a 4 week engagement before they go on tour. |
