I have to think about this one. I enjoyed parts of it, did not like other parts, interesting music, would not say I was blown away, found it to be a bit long, but for a first preview night very, very good.
I did not find it that dark, as the previous poster said, maybe they changed it a bit from London, did not focus on rape. Yes, some cruelty and bones, but nothing that would make one squirm. Again, just my opinion.

Can't wait for the reviews on this one, I think they will be all over the place.

| why would anyone recommend this show for teens? Horror experience, with rape, exposing of children bones from graveyards, cruelty and violence. Very black and somber. Definitely not cheerful and entertaining. |

| It is a moving epic, an emotion rocking story. Holds the audience captive. The music was splendid. Very different from any show that I have seen. |

| brilliant epic stole my breath when i saw it in london two years ago. i dont know if new york is aware of the treat it is about to encounter. this is theater on a scale not seen in years. physically and emotionally it is overwhelming. i cant wait to see it again in fact i have tickets for two different dates. |
