| Went to the show last night, all I can say is AMAZING!!!! The entire cast was so functional and fed off each others energy! It was Superb!!! Really proud of well scripted it was and how much energy went into conveying how her truly amazing her music and appetite for life was! Celia's legacy will live on forever!!! |

| My aunt and I went to see the final showing of Celia--It was absolutely Fantastic!!!! Annisa Gathers was Outstanding!!! Simply Breath-Taking--watching Annisa was like watching Celia herself! We laughed, cried, danced, sang--Bravo Annisa! and Bravo to the rest of the cast! Simply Wonderful! |

| I went and saw this play 3 weeks ago and it was Fabulous!!! I was in shock how much the actress sounds like the real Celia Cruz (RIP)...Eventhough you know Celia is no longer with us physically it seemed as if she was in the body of the lady singing spiritually. | OH MY GOD! I went to see this show with my daughter and twelve other folks last night 05-10-08. The show was INCREDIBLE. Anissa Gathers is just FANTASTIC!! There was another singer, I think she played Ollita and she had a very nice voice too. If you close your eyes you would think Celia was singing right in front of you!! I have gone twice to see it and loved it ! I plan to go see it a third.. I heard the show id due to close.. that is such a disapointment. I hope they plan to keep it open at least to the end of the summer.
I will advice all to go see..

| I only knew about Celia Cruz from some of her songs I’ve heard over the years. I didn’t know much of her life’s story and her rise to fame. This play goes through her life and it was well narrated by the actor who played her husband Pedro Knight. I thought this play was very well presented. | As a Cuban-American I must say this is an amazing show. I couldn't hold my tears back. The music was fantastic but the most touching part was the story itself especially when they show the video when Celia went to Guantanamo Bay and picked up some soil to bring back to the US to be deposited in her grave. My only dissappointment was with the actress who plays Celia's speaking part, she is clearly not Cuban and her manerisms are not genuinely ... read more "cuban" Also she is not black. | This was the most AMAZING play! I just wanted to go on stage and dance the night away while hugging both Celia and Pedro and thanking them for their prominent contributions to our culture. | This show is a stand-out! The music, the acting, and the story were all terrific. My only regret is that the male nurse in the play shoots off a couple of lines in Spanish after each musical number. Those fluent in the language understood him. The Anglos did not. Consider me in the latter group despite going to the English performance. |

| As a kid I grew up listening to and enjoying her music, but never knew her story. The show was so engaging. It brought back memories and brought up emotions---crying, laughing....The band was great, and Xiomara was convincing. I would love to see it again in Spanish. This show is highly recommended to all who appreciate the legend, her music and everything salsa!!! |
