Genius: Lily Tomlin, Whoopi Goldberg, Sarah Jones! Review by: irc, Jul 30, 2006 |
| Sarah Jones brings to life with surprising depth, nuance and sensitivity, poignant stories of New Yorkers awakening to the realities of the American Dream. With courage, Ms. Jones accomplishes a heroic feat - wielding humor with finesse - in 90 brilliant minutes to bring us all together in post-9/11 America. A breathtaking performance. Bravo! |

I.A.M.A.P.O.E.T.T.O.O. Review by: folkyboy, Jul 17, 2006 |
I recently went to see this production and was taken aback at how brilliant Sarah Jones' performance was. She literally BECOMES the people she evokes. I cannot begin to tell you how she exceeded my wildest expectations.
The story basically revolves around a poetry slam and the characters lives sort of come out and grab you as they try desperately to let their voices be heard. Some of them speaking for the very first time... |

I'm happy to say that the show has been extended through August. Review by: Leslie, Jul 7, 2006 |
I KNEW it was a one woman show, but I sat back and watched-in disbelief, as a cast of roughly twenty people preform this wonderful piece. Set in a poetry slam attended by many diverse individuals, Sarah Jones- convincingly, enters the skins of a multi-ethnic and multi-racial cast-both men and women. The host is an Arabic man, who after September 11th is still being eyed with suspicion. One by one, topical- and at times controversial, ... read more pieces are read. A ten year old reads her poem after much encouragement from her nurturing teacher. A man in a wheelchair, a rapper, Chinese, Japanese, Jamaican, Valley, they are all represented by this marvelous performer. I'm happy to say that the show has been extended through August.

Don't Miss This One! Review by: , Jul 7, 2006 |
| Sarah Jones is a gifted performer. You will be amazed by her ability to transform herself into a new character throughout the 90 minutes. Bridge & Tunnel has a light side, as well as a serious, throught-provoking side. |

Boring, dull, left. Review by: ZMom, Jun 13, 2006 |
| We found the performance to be dull, thinly disguised socioeconomic rhetoric, maybe we missed the funny parts because we left. |

Thought Provoking Review by: Jean, May 28, 2006 |
This one woman show is enjoyable and is presented utilizing several characters which the audience can relate to. The subjects each character presents and discusses will get your wheels turning - 'I never thought of that', or 'Yes I feel the same way'. This play does not include an intermission, but you will never miss it, the play is so good. |

One of the best shows on Broadway Review by: JW, May 5, 2006 |
| I go to at least a dozen Broadway shows a year. Often I am disappointed. Not this time. This was one of the most entertaining and thought-provoking shows I have ever seen. Sarah Jones' performance--articulating the immigrant experience in America--was truly remarkable. The show is a true work of art and a must see for any theater goer. |

Review by: Narrowback gal, Feb 20, 2006 |
| I only went because a friend wanted to and we got discount tickets. I was totally unprepared for what a knockout show this would be! Sarah Jones was really amazing, and she absolutely nailed most of the characters she was portraying. This was an unexpected treasure, and I would recommend anyone see it, even at full price it's well worth it. |
