Critics are Idiots (and jealous of other peoples' talent) Review by: NurseChris, Dec 19, 2011 |
Can't believe the show is closing! LOVED IT! Cleverly done, with headlines and pictures from the real Bonnie and Clyde. I think that the critics are cranky old men (& women) who CAN'T so they rip apart those who CAN. I truly believe that the critics have it out for Frank Wildhorn. Go see this musical before it closes! |

The critics are wrong, this is really not a show to miss. Im so glad I saw it in previews, I loved it and wanted to see it again, The whole cast was terrific, I couldnt take my eyes off of the two leads, they have great voices, loved the songs, great opening number, I loved it but I loved American Idiot also, which the critics didnt like and wicked is my favorite, and they didnt like that either, its sad to think they have such power that ... read more the show is closing.

Can't Believe They're Closing This Show! Review by: Manhattanite, Dec 18, 2011 |
| I just saw Bonnie and Clyde today (Sunday matinee) and I'm so sorry it's closing in a couple of weeks. I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed it, given the drubbing it got from critics. I thought the story was told sensitively, with wonderful music, imaginative sets, period appropriate costumes, and terrific performances from all the actors. I especially enjoyed "You Love Who You Love," a duet between Laura Osnes (Bonnie) and Melissa Van Der ... read more Schyff (Blanche). I was very moved by the love story and, of course, the ending (even though I knew what was coming). Osnes and Jeremy Jordan (Clyde) were both terrific in their roles, as were Van Der Schyff and Claybourne Elder (Buck). Louis Hobson was also terrific as Ted Hinton, who loves Bonnie and tries to save her from a life of crime. You only have untill Dec. 30, but go see this show if you can, You won't be disappointed. |

Bonnie And CLyde bits the dust Review by: jeff, Dec 16, 2011 |
I just heard Bonnie and Clyde is closing 12/30/2011. It joins Ragtime and A Tale of Two Cities, other plays I enjoyed with short runs. As a theater person I just don't know what to say, a 6 million dollar musical "the critics killed". In NY they are so foul,so cutting nothing can survive their displeasure. It is no wonder Funny Girl, may never play here again! This play was entertaining, maybe not for Broadway Critics but the general ... read more public given a chance would have enjoyed it. |

BONNIE AND CLYDE WAS SUPER FANTASTIC, ME AND MY FRIENDS WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN. Review by: GailAppleGardner, Dec 16, 2011 |
| Do not listen to the critics who I now have lost all respect for! I see they don't know a good play when they see, and hear one. I went with four friends, each one of us said we would see Bonnie and Clyde again. Can't get the music out of my head, mostly, "You're going back to jail", the acting was wonderful, loads of love and passion and Clyde, could not ask for anyone better to play Clyde. Blanch was adorable! Loved them all! Loved the ... read more music! Loved the story! Loved every single thing about it! GO SEE IT! |

Ignore the critics, this is an excellent show. Review by: Novashow, Dec 13, 2011 |
| My husband and I went to see Bonnie and Clyde without great expectations, but if we had them we would not have been disappointed. I was surprised when I read the critics reviews which were lackluster at best. Ignore them. The vocals and were exceptional and the entire production was excellent. |

Bonnie and Clyde is a great show! Don't listen to the critics! Review by: Broadwaybaby, Dec 12, 2011 |
| Don't listen to reviews! The critics compare everything to something else and can never have an open mind about any new show! Of course we've all heard the story of Bonnie and Clyde, so it was interesting and unique to present the story as a flashback and slowly reveal how they met and their lives together as fugitives of the law on the run! This is a love story with beautiful music and awesome performances from leads Jeremy ... read more Jordan and newcomer Laura Osnes! Why is Frank Wildhorn's beautiful musical scores so under-appreciated by NY critics?? He is a true american treasure! There are definitely some show stopper numbers here to go out humming! I loved it! |

Worth it!! Go see it! Review by: L. I. Local, Dec 11, 2011 |
| Despite what the critics say, go see this show! The acting, the original songs, the sets and even the video displays are, for lack of a better word, AWESOME! You also get a chance to see two of what I believe will be Broadway's next sought after stars in Laura Osnes and Jeremy Jordan. Support this new show...you won't be disappointed...if you don't then Broadway is destined for only revivals. |

GO! NOW! Review by: gfaustswa, Dec 7, 2011 |
| All I have to say is soooo good! Songs you will sing and hum for weeks. Especially "How Bout A Dance". That song was stuck in my head for 3 weeks solid. Even my 16 year old son, who doesn't care much for theatre, said he couldn't get that tune out of his head. |

Well Worth Seeing Bonnie and Clyde Review by: nyviewer, Dec 7, 2011 |
| Bonnie and Clyde is surely worth seeing. Sure, we know how it ends, but then again we know how many stories end. (French Revolution, Vietnam War,Beauty and the Beast!) This is very historically accurate. It offers a meaningful backstory of the characters and the vocals and staging were excellent. Certainly, it is not for the occasional musical viewer. It will not stand out as a theatrical event, but the reviews do not even begin to support ... read more the audience experience. If audience reaction is any proof, the audience was response and everyone near me sang its praises. I also sponsored a group into the city and they raved about their experience. Don't let the response of a few reviewers form your opinion. Go see this show. |

Ignore Critics, See Bonnie and Clyde Review by: Taylor, Dec 6, 2011 |
| I saw Bonnie and Clyde. I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed it. But I knew, critics would blast it. Critics today have become so predictable. Don't read the reviews and go see it. I want to see what the reviews are for On A Clear Day. If the critics love that, they I know something is not right. On A Clear Day was far from good. I suggest people give Bonnie and Clyde a try. The performances are good . It's a good show (not outstanding) that ... read more deserves to be seen. |
