| I am in the business so when I see something I am naturally very critical (and want it to be terrible since I am not involved). Usually I can site areas of improvement. I wouldn't change one nuance of this show. They have it down. Everything is perfect for what it is. The perfomances are top rate. There is so much talent on that stage. The choreography was perfect, just what the show needed. I know it's campy and tongue in cheek, but ... read more that is ok when it's performed properly and doesn't go over the line. Lot's of schtick but again it fits well here. Obviously that all means kudos to the writers and the director. I have been highly recommending this show to everyone that I see. The only thing that would improve it would be if the musicians were live. Not only is that preferable from an esthetic standpoint, in addition the strong voices on stage would blend in better with the accompaniment. |
