This is a fascinating one-man show depicting medal of honor winners, their circumstances of heroism as well as their reaction upon hearing the summons to see the U.S. President. Well presented and very well acted. A great show for men as well as women. Another terrific one-man show that men should find enthralling too is TOM CREAN at the Irish Repertory Theatre, West 22nd St. Tom Crean is written and played by a wonderful young Irish actor.... read more. It's about another real hero who accompanied both Scott and Shackelton on their Antartic explorations. Don't miss it. It has thrills and laughs.

| I have new admiration for Stephen Lang as an actor. He was fantastic in the mutiple roles of the heros he portrayed. It was a performance not to be missed. |

| This one man show brought to life 8 medal of honor recipients with the most minimal props, instead relying on the dramatic abilities of the performer. He was outstanding in giving life to each of the characters he portrayed. We are reminded how most of of us never face these situations, never mind how we would react to them. The show is not depressing---instead it is inspiring, that men exist who have done such courageous acts. The play is not ... read more political, not for war, not preaching against it, only showing great courage of individuals in the worst of circumstances. I highly recommend this drama! It has a limited run. |
