| Beauty and the Beast is by far the best show I have seen. It was amazing. And anyone who says otherwise has not seen Tarzan. Tarzan just makes you appreciate B&TB soooooo much more. The temptation to run across the street to Beauty and the Beast was hard while at Tarzan. The show was amazing and just a beautiful sight to see. I loved it. I would reccommend it to anyone who wants to be fully and completely entertained. It was great....... |

An abosultley beautiful show.
I saw this with my Mom (a senior), My husband (mid 30s) and my daughter (8) and we all absolutely loved it.
Great songs, great dancing, great costumes, great sets, great story, great cast.
I cant think about one thing I would change!
The young kids in the auidence were well-behaved which means that the show held their interest.
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST was a great show the whole family can enjoy. |

Its a fine show for kids, but for older people and people who have seen many broadway shows, it will most likely bore you. I left the theatre thinking it was only okay, and it really didnt grow on me at all. The songs were good and so was the set..but the show is really only meant for children.

| I saw Beauty & the Beast with Donny Osmond in the cast and it was incredible! The costumes and set were wonderful and the whole cast was amazing and talented! The minute it was over, I wanted to see it again. My favorite part of the show was Be Our Guest. Go see Beauty & the Beast! You won't be disappointed! |

| We went many years ago to see Beauty and the Beast but the second time was even better! Let me start with the music which was absolutly amazing! The scenery couldn't have gotten any better. Now the acting. Donny Osmond was the star of the show he made the experiance even more magical. Belle was also very good as was everyone. I saw this show for the first time three years ago when Megan McGinnis starred as Belle, and Steve Blanchard starred as the Beast (although if I'm correct, he is still there!). We got discount tickets (ending up in the third row!) and it was WELL WORTH IT. I would have paid full price. It was fantastic, and I've come back twice since then. The special effects and new songs greatly add to an already wonderful musical. If you've heard the original cast on the soundtrack and didn't care for it, see this show anyway. Susan Egan (the original Belle) is a sub-par singer in my opinion and most of the later Belles (with the exception of Brooke Tansley.....yikes) have been much better.
This is a must-see. SEE IT! |

| I went to see Beauty and the Beast during a recent trip to NYC with my 15 yr old daughter and some family and friends. It was my first time to a show and it was absolutely magical! The stage, the set and the wonderful acting and dancing took us away to another place for the full 2 1/2 hours. The energy and talent of the actors was amazing. | I just saw it again for the 4th time in 10 years! I never tire of it! It still amazes me! (Especially the transfomation!) This time we took my 7 year old son for his birthday! He totally loved this better than a "present"! I wanted to see it with Donny Osmond. Always loved Donny, but wasn't sure how he was going to pull off such a villian. Wonderful!!! TRULY EXCELLENT!!!!
This play was so captivating from the beginning, throughout and especially the ending. The actors/actresses were all so very good and really portrayed their characters to the fullest. I was somewhat skeptical because I thought it was a play designed for the interest of kids but it totally changed my belief the moment they took stage. The performance was so good, the other 3 days we had left in our trip, we spent some time trying to find more discounted tickets to other plays, because we felt the need that we MUST compare this play to something else. It was our first Broadway play ever and that was my 3rd visit to New York; however, now I'm looking for to my next trip back just to see another Broadway Play. I can’t believe I was missing out all this time…..Truly Excellent and A Must See!!

| I saw this on Broadway a in 2002 and have raved since. It was the BEST Broadway show I've ever seen. I took my 2 daughters, ages 6 & 17, the 6 yr old sat soundless for the ENTIRE performance on the edge of her seat (through intermission and all!) She was totally mesmerized. The 17 yr old talks about it today. It's a show not to be missed by young and old! It's great to have Broadway shows that the WHOLE family can enjoy!! SEE IT!! |

| Saw in 12/2002. I was so excited to see this show finally as it is my favorite Disney story/movie. The scenery and stage design was unbelievable. Lots of energy and definitely worth the wait. However, my only complaint was I did not like Jamie Lynn Sigler (or whatever from the Sopranos) as Belle. Voice was too nasaly for the part, but it could have been worse. I would definitely suggest seeing it if you haven't already. |
