One of the best musicals playing in NYC. The Boyz are amazingly talented and the show is, in the words of Mary Poppins "Practically Perfect."
It is a must see for any and everyone. |

| My daughters and I are fans of Neil Haskell which is the main reason why we saw the show. Our three daughters, my husband and I loved the show. We are Catholic and that made the show that much funnier. We had the front row so watching Neil up close and personal was exciting for my girls. | I read reviews about this show, and I have to say there was way too much hype with this one. The music was okay. There were definatley parts were you wanted to laugh, but there were also parts were you wanted to get up and leave the show. They need to find some better singers for this show. Michael Craig who plays Matthew did a great Job, with a little more work he could really take off in Showbiz, he has great potential, also the guy who plays ... read more Luke Neil Haskell also did a good job. Overall the production lacked. I think people need to rethink what they mean when they say a great show. This is not one of them! Worth seeing but not great. I think they did do a great job in raising money like they did for charity, it really helps those who need it to fight AIDS. |

| Saw the Boyz on Nov. 1 and LOVED the show. The singing and dancing is great, the lyrics quite funny, and overall a fun show and highly entertaining. If you are a devout Catholic, you may find it a bit sacrilegious, but it's entertainment, not mass! I would highly recommend to anyone. Can't wait to see it again. |

| Saw the boyz yesterday with two friends and we loved it. Singing and dancing great-so much energy. We all laughed out loud for ninety minutes. Still smiling when I think of some of the numbers. Great afternoon at the theatre and for such a resonable price. Hurry up and see. |

| Fun show! Everyone in the family enjoyed it. It's not offensive to anyone and its not vulgar like people are saying. There's a song called "You Make Me Want to Wait," but if anything that's good, right? And there is strong hints that someone is gay, but it's not addressed which makes it even funnier. Dancing is fantastic, and the small theater is very intimate, not a bad seat. Definitely had me laughing for an hour and a half. |

| This was very good play. It mainly focus on singing and dancing relating to God. It was funny at some parts. Don't get me wrong, it's not boring at all even thought it's about God. Some of the characters act a little bit on the gay side, so if you are very sensitive about watching gay mannerism don't watch it. Other than that you will enjoy the play. |

| While visiting New York, I bought tickets to "Altar Boyz" from a hawker in Times Square who assured me the musical was wholesome, light-hearted family entertainment. I should have asked him if he was a Christian because I am one, and I felt the music lyrics and props were sacrilegious;and the actors' on-stage gestures were vulgar and scandalous. I walked out in disgust. Frankly, if I hadn't been a Christian, I would still have walked out.... read more. The music and singing were at the high school level, at best. I've made my living as a writer and have written lyrics for songs recorded on the MGM label. I long ago came to the conclusion that the no-talents in this business confuse vulgarity with creativity. This musical is a good example of what I mean. Save your money and go to a show that's worth seeing. |

| Saw this show July 3 with husband and two teenage daughters. We all LOVED it! All members of the cast are excellent singers and dancers. My kids want the sound track, but disappointed that it will be sung by a different group of guys since this cast was so good. There was one song I was a little uncomfortable with, but out of a 90 minute show I only cringed for about 10 seconds with the song content. Highly recommend this show.
