| I really enjoyed this show. I wasn't sure what to expect with some not so favorable reviews and some amazing reviews, so I thought I would decide for myself and I really, really enjoyed it. The story is very moving and the actor does a fantastic job. How can anyone not like this show. Go see it with a family member and you will appreciate it. |

| Nice try but it needs a lot more work as a piece. Friends and family in the audience gave him a standing ovation - but most theatregoers at the show I saw were basically unimpressed and remained seated. No great shakes - sorry - I know there were many pulling for him. |

| Although the actor is good - the production is sorely lacking as there is not enough variety in this solo show to sustain 70 minutes. It's way too long. The material is not well developed and repetitive and direction is delinquent. |

| Great actor who does a really nice job with all the different characters in the show. This is a really good solo-show and should be seen. I also enjoyed the music and production values in this medium sized theatre. Nice gift for the holidays. |

| It's nice to see a son pay homage to his "old man" but this show was not well put together by any stretch of the imagination either on paper or directorially. It remained entirely one demensional and was so poorly directed or not directed at all. This guy flies around the stage working up a huge sweat telling us about his relationship with his father. It's a pretty universal theme and should have you engaged but here it wasn't particularly.... read more. I tuned out several times and don't think it was put together professionally. It was well-intentioned but fell short of the mark. |

| Ok, decided to see this show based on the reviews here. Although I thought this show was ok I would not say it is a "must see" and had me crying at the end. I totally respect and got what he was saying, but for me something was missing, can't explain it, just my feeling. |

| Surprising little gem with much emotion. The performer is brilliant and captures the audiences' hearts and minds with two parts drama, one part comedy and three parts realism. | What an excellent show! Louis Liberti brings the audience into his world, a world where he idolizes his father, the coolest guy in the world, until he starts to learn the sad truth underneath. A one man show is only as good as the performer and Louie uses all his talent to effortlessly flow from one character to the next, cheanneling each one in specific and interesting detail. I saw the show opening night with a friend who knew Louie, the writer/performer...so I didn't know what to expect and I have to say that I was totally blown away.
For a one-man show, this is by far one of the best I have ever seen. Louie is heartfelt and his story about his relationship with his father had everyone, including myself crying in their seats.
This is a must see!! |
