Dynamic teaming of actors and a gritty story. Review by: Aim, Sep 27, 2009 |
| Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig are riveting. The story is topical and well-executed.The direction is precise. Welcome back, Hugh. |

very strong and powerful show Review by: mstheatrefranny, Sep 27, 2009 |
This was a very powerful show with great performances. Very intense but you find yourself listening to every word as the story and characters are developed. You get a real sense of what kind of people they are and get inside their relationships and their heads. Very strong. And on a lighter note, watching Hugh JAckman in anything, or should I say, watching Hugh JAckman at all, is heaven!!! |

Bravo Review by: theatergoer, Sep 26, 2009 |
| This show was brilliant. I would see it again and again. Well acted and staged and a great story. It was so good that you forgot you were watching Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig but instead were watching to the lives of two Chicago cops unravelling. Bravo! |

Steady Rain: NOT a cure for Insomnia Review by: gwennie, Sep 24, 2009 |
| One of the finest plays I have ever seen. Audience held its breath the entire 90 minutes. Impossible to go to sleep early after seeing this. |

No frills, bland and boring. Review by: , Sep 24, 2009 |
| Don't waste your time or money; there is nothing 'Broadway' about this show; literally two actors, two chairs and two overhead lamps Hugh Jackman was adequate, Daniel Craig was uninspiring and seemed get lost in his own long, boring dialogue. |

HORRIBLE Review by: t, Sep 24, 2009 |
| I had no idea really what to expect; but for the whole 90 minutes there were just two chairs on the stage and they basically narrorated a story. Bored to tears couldn't wait for it to end!!! No props, no cast just the two of them...Total waste of money!!!! Still love them though.... |

Star Power Review by: Gerry, Sep 21, 2009 |
| It is difficult to separate this performance from the celebrity. Both men are awe inspiring. Non-stop (no intermission) monologues that I found riveting ..... and as mentioned these guys are working overtime to bury their native accents. If you like both these actors, spring for premium tickets $$$$ for the max in NY theater intimacy. |

THIS SEASON'S FIRST TONY NOMINATION Review by: BigKen, Sep 16, 2009 |
| WOW!!! What a powerful show. I did not know anything about the storyline until I saw it this past weekend. And I'm thankful for that. Had I known what it was about, I may have chosen to see something "less heavy." I was so fortunate to get a ticket and I enjoyed the performance of both actors...and loved their "American accents." Although the language may offend some, it was real and necessary. A performance and a show truly worthy ... read more of a Tony. |
