This is an extraordinary play which cleverly weaves traditional Christmas carols into compelling stories about characters as different as President Lincoln, a runaway slave, a freedman blacksmith with the Union Army, and John Wilkes Booth.
The cast of over ten assume multiple roles and seamlessly slip from one into the other, taking capes, hats, and the like from hooks on the walls of the theatre.
