The show was great! His versatility, story telling, comedic timing this guy was brilliant. 6 Guitars is definitely not a concert or a musical really it's more of a play with music to help guide the stories he is telling. He is an incredibly compelling actor that kept me sucked into his world(s) the entire time. I especially loved his interaction with the audience and his quick responses. I would love to go back and see what it would be like ... read more the next time.
This show is being performed at an interesting theatre. I've been to a few off b'way shows and this is straight in the middle from the creepy to normal, to the over priced 2 drink minimum. I heard quite a few grumbles about this (me included), but my review is about the SHOW not the theatre's choices. Don't hurt the show when it has nothing to do with the theatre, except using it's space.
