| I didn't know what to expect when I went to see 13, as it is the first Broadway show that consists if an all teen cast. However, I was blown away by the performance and the talent of all the members of the cast. Also, the concept of the play was so relatable to people of all ages, and 13 covered all of the joys and downfalls of being a teenager. I am far removed from the teen demographic and really found this very enjoyable and relatable. It is amazing how adult 13 year olds can act and how much like 13 year olds adults can act.
The cast is extremely talented and professional. As the show progressed I particularly looked forward to Allie Trimm's solos.
13 was fast paced and very energetic.

| 13 is the best thing ever to hit Broadway!! With breath-taking music composed by tony award winning composer Jason Robert Brown, and a cast and band all in the age range of 13-17, you are bound to be absolutely blown away! | 13 is an extraordinary show with the kids the match. I laughed so hard, and could relate extremely well to the plot. I know what it's like to want to kiss someone, fear of having someone not like me, and to invite people to a party! Graham Phillips who played Evan did an amazing job and I got goosebumps during "A Little More Homework" one of the beautiful songs from the cast album. Since 13 was only my second Broadway show that I had seen in my life, my expectations for it were very high. Thankfully, all of my expectations were fulfilled. 13 is not only a show with an all teenage cast, but a story, a journey, about the troubles that kids endure when they become teenagers.
Evan Goldman, who is preparing to have his Bar Mitzvah, is torn apart when he learns that his parents are getting a divorce, and he must move from ... read more lively New York City to "The Lamest Place In The World", Appleton, Indiana. Evan must choose between either being what he isn't and have all the "cool kids" attend his Bar Mitzvah, or being himself and having two really good, close friends.
13 is a riveting story about forgetting stereotypes and being your true self to gain real friends. "What It Means To Be A Friend" is an absolutely breathtaking song, not only because Allie has an unbeatable voice, but because the song expresses what a true friend really is and how they should always be there for you. I absolutely loved the cast (even being teenagers gave a wonderful performance) and the band, who without it, there would be no music for the amazing cast to sing to. Jason Robert Brown did a great job with turning this book into a dramatic, yet fun-filled Broadway hit! |

| I attended 13 the Saturday before the opening and I found it rather enjoyable. I am a teenager, so seeing this I was able to relate to everything they were saying. I was very surprised when the punchlines were given that only the audience laughed and the teens on stage were able to remain in the scene. That shows a lot of effort. I felt that they were acting like teenagers and making fun of the world, which is exactly what we do. I found all the ... read more voices strong and unique. I was very surprised to hear many alto voices and I was very impressed. I think they should keep up the fabulous work! And any teen can relate to this show and get kicks out of the lines and the songs. You'll never want to stop singing the songs! | I thought 13 was clever and enjoyable. It took some shots at society from a 13 years old perspective which created some good laughs and a couple of gasps. I thought it hit the mark and is a good show to go see with your teen. The music was inspiring and well performed. The kids are great and very talented. I would recommend it. |

| I took my son to see 13 a few days before it opened, and it delivers what it promises: a smartly paced story of adolescence told by a very talented cast. The leading man in particular is deceptively strong: he makes it look so easy.
