Love this show Review by: elvis fan, Jul 27, 2012 |
| My girlfriend and I loved this show. We were impressed with the singing and the costumes. Have been back 3 times and will go a 4th before it is over. We saw the Beattles the next night and were so disappointed. It was the Yellow Submarine live. Loved seeing the flash back of Elvis's life. I took my elderly aunt and the next night saw Lion King. She loved Elvis and was disappointed in the Lion King. |

Vivaless Elvis Review by: , Jul 2, 2011 |
| Elvis was the greatest individual entertainer in history so Viva Elvis should have been fantastic - oh dear! It is without doubt the worst show on the strip and Elvis would have been extremely disappointed and saddened. Someone please put him out of his misery and close it down! |

Loved Viva Elvis Review by: Bax, Apr 18, 2011 |
| We went to Viva Elvis Feb./11. Both my husband & I loved the energy of the show. Have never heard such good live music, the drummers & guitarist are wonderful. It was not your typical Cirque show, but we knew that before going. The sound system in the beautiful theatre is amazing. We sat in the front middle section, so saw everything up close. Was disappointed that some of Elvis' great songs were not included, the cowboy scene could ... read more have been omitted, and the singer sitting on top of the giant wedding cake looked ridiculous I thought. The parts about Priscilla were touching and emotional, but no mention of Lisa Maria, thought that was strange. The Viva Las Vegas number was colourful and entertaining. All in all, we loved the show and the music. Thought it was a good tribute to the man who brought so much to Las Vegas during his time there. Although I was never lucky enough to see the King live, being at this show made me feel part of a tribute to Elvis, and that made me happy. |

Elvis -- I think not Review by: , Mar 22, 2011 |
| Huge Disappointment from the start -- my husband and I looked forward to this show for months... what a let down !!!!! The show definitely did not take into account the awesome opportunity they had at hand to take advantage of the fantastic opportunity they had to display one of the most legendary performers of our time .... we would of walked out -- but felt obligated to stay -- after all it was not the performers fault.... save your money -- ... read more if its Elvis you are looking for walk the strip -- you'll find more entertainment there and have money to spend !!!!!!!!!!!! |

Elvis would have loved it Review by: ozziechick45, Feb 28, 2011 |
My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed this show - we have seen most Cirque shows but them tied up with Elvis was brilliant - loved both components together and the music re-vamped was just fantastic - if you only see one show on your trip make sure this is it, we would recommend it to any age and anyone - can't wait to go see it again (& we have to come from Australia) Wish there was a DVD, as we play the CD over and over Suggestion - book ... read more before you go |

Review by: Nick, Jan 14, 2011 |
| Enjoyed the show. It made Elvis's music good and the show had lots of color and glitz. It wasn't my favorite cirque show in vegas, but it wasn't my least favorite either. It's on the verge of not being a cirque show imo though. It almost is like a cirque/tribute/musical, but I enjoyed it more than expected. I've seen all of the cirque shows in vegas except criss angel's believe. I would rank this one in the middle. ... read more My favorites are Zumanity, Ka, and Love. My least favorite was Mystere. Just in case you wanted my opinion, which I guess you do if you're reading me. |

ELVIS Never Entered This Building - - Neither Should You Review by: islandman, Jan 7, 2011 |
| A mere thirty minutes into this disaster, I simply had to walk out...the first time ever for a Cirque show. This mess misses presenting the essence of Elvis' power and manages to undercut the high standards for other Vegas Cirque shows such as "O" and "Love". Elvis and you should share one common goal...not to enter tghis building to behold this terrible show! I was warned and failed to stay away.....BIG MISTAKE! |

Great show and tribute Review by: Markie, Sep 9, 2010 |
| I've seen all the Cirque shows - this ranks among the best. Terrific combo of live singing, Elvis on recordings, graphis and lights, plenty of the Cirque touch. All was done with a loving touch, plenty of input from the Elvis estate and Priscilla Presley. Great video clips from his military service, wedding, home life. I intend to see it again on my next trip to Vegas - the City Center adjacent to the Aria is easy to get to and is remarkable ... read more space. The thetre itself was spacious and comfortable. |

Don't bother if you're a Cirque fan...you won't see it Review by: Dale C, Aug 29, 2010 |
| VERY disappointing!!!! 5 of us, all huge Cirque fans, saw this and we just couldn't believe how lackluster it was. Maybe that's why only about half of the seats were filled. The musicians and singers wer great just no Cirque part of it....shold have gone back to see Love again. |

Sadly disappointed Review by: Will, Aug 25, 2010 |
Im not an Elvis fan. Im not a Beatles fan either, but saw "LOVE" atthe Mirage twice and LOVED it and would see it "LOVE" again. Viva Elvis...the singing and dancing was good...but the "Cirque" side of it was VERY disappointing. Had I not been in the middle of a row, I would have walked out. The "Cirque" was more like party tricks...stacking and climbin chairs. swinging from a big guitar and 2 lots of couples on wedding rings...who ... read more knows what they were up to. There was about 3 hours (wel it felt like it) of tramplolining superheros...because Elvis read comic books!!! Thats part went on FOREVER and made no sense. Was surprised that there was no Flying Elvii flying onto the stage. If your an Elvis fan...then I think that you might like it. Theater is good, great seating...tho some rows have only one side entry/exit |

Fantastic Band Review by: , Jun 7, 2010 |
| Saw the show with freinds in may. We thought the show was great. The band was exceptional pure rock and roll. The acrobats- superheroes- were weird but very entertaining. It was some of they best rock guitar and drums I've heard in vegas for a long time. Actually since the Paris got rid of the tribute to Queen years ago. We have seen alot of shows over 20 years of going to vegas and this rates as one of the best. If you are looking for ... read more pure tribute to Elvis and only Elvis then this show may not be for you. But it is entertaining and all shows in vegas carry a high price tag. |

Review by: stewart0722, May 15, 2010 |
10 Minutes into the show, my wife leans over to me and whispered "this sucks". The lady next to me overheard the comment my wife made, and turned to both of us and said "It sure as hell does, doesn't it". Comic Book Characters? Are you serious? Lassoing Cowboy Act? The show had a couple of touching moments, but a DVD would have too. This was a mish mash production with no correspondence to the timeline of his life. ... read more I found it bizarre that they left only the last 10 minutes of the show to relate to 70s Elvis, which is what LAS VEGAS ELVIS was......Love me tender to Army Photos, Comic book acrobats, Col Parker's Cheeseville presenting all add up to a production that although brings mind to Elvis, completely misses a grand opportunity to leave people with the essence of the man, as if he was there somehow.....the way that Beatles "LOVE" does. When you leave there, you feel the fab four. When you leave this show, you just feel ripped. |

Avoid Viva Elvis! Review by: Nick, Mar 1, 2010 |
What a huge dissapointment! I took my wife to Vegas jus to see Jersey Boys ( EXCELLENT) and Viva Elvis. I only wish I could get my $350 back for Elvis. First you must walk and walk and walk to get to the Aria and we were just across the street at Paris. Then the show did not even last 90 minutes! No mention of Lisa Marie or Graceland? Black girl singing on top of Priscilla and elvis' wedding cake? It was more of a High School show than a Vegas ... read more show. Avoid this one, it is a rip-off. Go see the Beatles Love show. |

SKIP THIS SHOW Review by: JLG, Feb 26, 2010 |
| We love all Elvis music. Excited about the show. We have seen LOVE eight times. Would not recommend this show to anyone. When you leave a good show, you could set through another performance, we will not be back. They changed the Kings music and had a number of women singing his songs. They omitted some of Elvis's best work. The producers need to let Elvis sing his song and add his best work. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! |
