A stunner.. direct from Broadway. Unlike most shows will come from Broadway to Vegas, the Lion King stays true to form, and retains the splendor and awe of the original broadway production. From the magical opening number to "He Lives in You" .. each scene is a shining example of something created with care and creativity.
It is worth mentioning that the calibre of actors and actresses in this Vegas production is of the highest degree.... read more. After gambling and walking the strip it is truly a pleasure and a treat to be able to enjoy this production. Often, with a scaled down show reduced to 90 minutes, you get a sense of the original production. With the Lion King @ Mandalay Bay, you enjoy a little bit of New York City moments from the slot machines and seconds from the restaurants.
This was one of the highlights of my recent trip to Vegas and am excited to review this production. |
