Fantastic day out for music lovers! Can't praise it enough! A* Review by: Ali, Oct 5, 2009 |
I went to the British Music Experience at the 02 Bubble yesterday with a friend, and what a top day! We got our tickets cheaper than advertised, online, but it is well worth the ticket price. The interactive parts of the exhibition are an absolute blast, I had a guitar lesson with KT Tunstall, a drum lesson with Blur, and sang with Coldplay, Rod Stewart, Oasis and Queen (Bohemian Rhapsody, v.v.badly!! lol). There was ... read more exhibits and information for all types of music, from Rock and Roll right thru to Brit Pop and beyond.
The ticket is an innovation in itself. If has a barcode on it, and if you find something of particular interest, you swipe your ticket at the smart ticket point, and the information is stored on your ticket for you to access at your leisure on your PC. It also records all your interactive sessions in the Gibson studio, and your dancing lessons (we did Disco and Ska which were highly amusing to watch!).
I would HIGHLY recommend this as a fun day out, for all music lovers. Merchandise was a bit pricey, but my kids were happy with a pencil and rubber each! Anyhow, if you like your music, I'm sure you'll absolutely LOVE this! |
