Ring Round The Moon is set at a glamorous society ball in 1950’s France. Witty, charming and madcap, this is an enchanting comedy of mistaken identity, romance, money and moonlight - played out under the dazzling lights of a winter garden.
Identical twins Hugo and Frederic could not be more different; Hugo appears heartless and aloof while his brother is thoughtful and diffident. As Hugo prepares an evening of charades and facade at the Spring Ball, he little expects to be outplayed by his wily aunt, who resolves his games with unexpectedly happy results.
Written by Jean Anouilh in 1947, the play was translated and adapted by Chistopher Fry and was last seen in London's West End in 1967.
