Peter Pan is being performed in a purpose-built pavilion, which will have an increased capacity at The O2, and will seat an audience of 1,350. "PETER PAN" will bring its breathtaking and specially-commissioned 360-degree projected scenic design to The O2, being seen there for the first time ever.
This new production of Peter Pan, written by Tanya Ronder from JM Barrie, is directed by Ben Harrison and designed by William Dudley. The cast is headed by Ciaran Kellgren playing 'Peter Pan', Abby Ford 'Wendy Darling', Jonathan Hyde 'Captain Hook/Mr Darling', Karen Ascoe 'Mrs Darling', with Arthur Wilson as 'John Darling' and David Poynor as 'Michael Darling'.
The pavilion will be situated in the Meridian Gardens at The O2. Peter Pan at The O2 will incorporate changes to the production to be seen at the San Francisco opening next May at the start of a 20-month US tour. A second production will open in New Zealand in January 2011 at the start of a Far Eastern tour.
