Miss Saigon is scheduled to return to the West End in 2013. Considered one of the West End's most beloved musicals, Miss Saigon took the world by storm after its premiere in London in 1989.
Miss Saigon opens in 1975 at the 'Dreamland' nightclub in a sleazy part of Vietnam, shortly before the Fall of Saigon. Kim, a seventeen year old who works at the nightclub meets Chris, a US marine, and the two immediately fall in love. The show Miss Saigon follows their emotional story.
From the writers of the epic 'Les Miserables', Claude-Michel Schonberg and Alan Boublil, the upcoming production of Miss Saigon on the West End, theatre venue or cast have not yet been announced.
