The hit Abba musical continues its successful West End run!
The back catalogue of Abba, one of the most successful bands of all time, accompanies Catherine Johnson's new story in which a young woman and her mother find themselves involved in past events on the eve of the daughter's wedding day. Directed by Phyllida Lloyd whose credits include The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie at the National Theatre. Songs include Money, Money, Money and Dancing Queen.
The new London cast will begin performances on Monday June 15, 2009. The cast will be led by Sally Ann Triplett as Donna Sheridan, with Katy Secombe as Rosie and Jane Gurnett as Tanya. Norman Bowman as Sam Carmichael, Paul Ryan as Harry Bright, Christopher Hollis as Bill Austin, Niamh Perry as Sophie Sheridan, Oliver Hembrough as Sky, Jodie Read as Ali, Laura Selwood as Lisa, Ben Heathcote as Pepper and Sam McKay as Eddie.
At certain performances the role of Donna Sheridan will be played by Melissa Jacques.
