Robert Bathurst (Cold Feet, Whipping It Up) brings the country's favourite cartoon investment banker (as featured in the Daily Telegraph) to three dimensional life in a hilarious send-up of the corporate world. All the regular characters from the cartoon strip are here: his timid and inept sidekick Clive, long-suffering wife Penny, abrasive boss Rupert, stroppy client Mr Hardcastle, as well as graduate trainees, lap dancers, bibulous journalists, freeloading industrialists and all the other fringe characters of City life.
Award-winning director Phelim McDermott (Shockheaded Peter, Improbable Theatre) comes together with a top-class design team to bring to life the ingenious animations from the pen of Charles Peattie in what promises to be a hilarious night out for theatregoers and a must-see for fans of the cartoon !
