With its lavish theatrical spectacle and succession of famous melodies including The Triumphal March and Celeste Aida, ENO's 2007 sell-out production of Verdi's epic love story makes a triumphant return. Renowned British fashion designer Zandra Rhodes creates an opulent world with her vibrant scenery and costumes, set against a backdrop of war and the splendour of ancient Egypt. Claire Rutter, John Hudson, Iain Paterson and Jane Dutton reprise their roles as Aida, Radames, Amonasro and Amneris in Jo Davies' hugely popular production.
